*My Crows* *My Art* *My Way*

Sunday, April 26, 2020

Hi Everyone 😃
Hope you're all doing well and keeping safe ❤️
I've been doing lots of yard clean up. I thought I would have some fun and change around my decorations.
This is what it looked like before. (click on pics to make them bigger)
This is what I changed it to.
As I was changing this around, I noticed our bird bath had a crack around the middle, which caused it to wobble. So, I clued it and got some stone/concrete paint. I got a light, sparkle gold paint. I also enhanced some of the other pieces with red.
I think when everything starts to bloom in the background, it's going to look really pretty.

I also created another one of my swirl crows.
"Healing Of The Soul💗" (12" x 12")

Before I leave you, I would like to share a really good, "cool" book that is being released from one our blog friend's, Sandra 💜

Blurb:

A modern day, shape shifting sheriff.

He's the sheriff of a sparsely populated county in Montana. His blood brother and childhood best friend is Chief of Police on the Blackfoot Reservation, but they no longer speak. His deputy is a Southern transplant with the body of a high-priced call girl, a voice of honey and a mouth of a trucker. And if that's not enough, he's got a secret that would stun those that know him best. Other than that, it's business as usual for Sheriff Mateo Grey.

  1. Love your refreshed garden decorations and your new swirl crow! And a shapeshifting sheriff/wolf -- I assume from the cover -- sounds like fun! He can really sniff for clues!

  4. Interesting. I have been reading a lot more lately. Mostly at night when the house is nice and cool and I can open up the doors and relax. David is still going to bed early so I have a lot of evening time on my hands. I think I finish on average a book every two nights. I also do a lot of repotting and growing of my plantlings that I have taken cuttings from. So much work.
    Stay safe and healthy.

  7. I lost my comment. Let's try again. I do like what you did with the yard ornament. Yes, when the background foliage comes in every thing will look very pretty. I love your latest swirl crow. Interesting blurb on the book. In my first comment I asked if Sandra was from MT. I went to her blog and found out she is from NC. It sounds like you and your mom are in good health. We are fine here. Growing a garden. I am having so much fun. Stay safe my friend and tell mom hello.

  32. The Healing of the Soul piece really speaks to me, with the smallness of the bird, but it being perfectly enveloped by something that feels like kindred, that understands the feel of feathers.

Yay for a new book to check out!

Your garden looks lovely, but moving the heavy pieces must have been a workout! I hope that your garden brings you peace and joy through the summer season! Hugs to you, my friend!
