Hi Everyone πŸ˜€
I hope you're all doing well and keeping safe and healthy!
I thought I would put Happy Baby Crow in my banner, to send you all a smile!

Well, basically everything has been shut down, except for "essentials". Our company closed all stores yesterday. Now, we are going into the store, when it's closed, to receive shipments, merchandise, clean, do store orders, etc. Only one of us is permitted to go into the store at a time. We are hoping to open up again by March 29th. But, things could change!

I know all of us around the world are going through the same things.

The grocery stores around in our area, are trying to put a stop to people buying 50 things of toilet paper at a time! Crazy!!!

I have to admit, the last few times I went out to the grocery store, everyone has been so nice!!! Not like when this first started. It was like being in a football game!

I haven't washed my hands so much in my life! LOL! I also didn't realize, when this all started, how much I touched my face!

We are going to get through this!

I did finish an ink drawing.
Started with the eye.
Then added more detail.
Finished piece.
"Believe In Your Light" (9" x 12")

I have to share my new eye glass holder. I know so many of you love cats in blog land!

I thought it was so cute!

Please take care of yourselves!!!

Big Hugs 😊

This coronavirus is scary, it is important for us all to pull together and do the best we can …

I always enjoy seeing your art.

My good wishes to you and your family.

  3. Thigs are okay so far. They have put a stop to hoarding. Our grocery store has a service for elderly that they will shop for free for you. You just order what you need and pay online and then they deliver. Ther service is free for now. David is still working at the office because there is no way he can't. The place has to stay open. I don't believe that. The management is just being selfish.

  4. Beautiful art!!! The perfect inspiration for us in these uncertain times. Yep, me too on the washing hands, lol. My job is still up and running which is a bit scary since we all have to sit so close to each other at our workstations and people are sick as usual this time of year. Guess we'll see as time goes by if they stay open. BIG HUGS!!!

  6. Baby Crow is a cutie! And I really like your new piece Believe In Your Light.

I thought of you the other day when I had two workmen installing a temporary rental handicap ramp over my front porch steps into my home. The two young men were as nice and quiet as they could be while they worked, but you should have heard my "Watch Crows" having a fit about those men in my front yard. The crows were watching the men from in my backyard overlooking the front yard where in spring I always plant my zinnias and do a little bit of puttering with my plants and flowers. For years the crows have always come close to me,watched me watering the plants, and deadheading roses, etc, and gave me a few friendly caws, and I have always, for many years, cawed back at them. Their friendly greetings to me and my husband are so different than the way they were scolding those workmen. The guys had commented that those crows were really making a lot of noise. I told them they are my Watch Crows and then I confessed that I always caw back at them. One of the workman laughed and said that his wife does that too. Maybe there are a lot of us crow talkers around.

    Take care and stay well.

  15. Great to see a post from you. I was out yesterday and the stores were dead, they were dead the other day too. Everyone has been super kind and nice. It's been wonderful in terms of that. No complaints. And the stores themselves (in my village), are doing excellent at keeping stocked and clean.

Stay safe and Happy Painting. And again, really wonderful to see you post. You've got great energy.

  18. The shelves at the store were nearly empty of everything. I wonder how big people's homes and pantries are to be able to store so much. As to face touching, that made me laugh. I must touch my face 1,000 times per hour. I am dead. 😺Your new drawing is fabulous, but my favorite is the Ink peeking on your eyeglass case. Take care.

  24. Oh Sweetie...your baby crow has really cheered me up!!😊😊
We are in lockdown here too...and, unfortunately, it has become more and more difficult to find any essentials in our stores.
People here, too, are loading up their trollies without a thought for anyone else. But, there is another side to the crisis...there is a lot of kindness around too!😊😊

Stay safe and well, my friend!

All my love and hugs ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  29. Hi Stacy! I hope you are doing well! It seems we are going to have many more weeks of things being closed. Toilet paper is still difficult to come by here! Same here with the hand washing. We still receive a lot of deliveries each week and need to treat everything like has the virus on it. You never know! Your new ink drawing is beautiful. I love the splash of bright colors!

We are in the same situation here. I have been working from home for one month (as of tomorrow). I have been home and in my yard for the last month- but haven't gone into any stores since my last day of work (I do have someone who gets my groceries).

What a lovely message and art piece. :)

I hope you are staying safe!
