Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
I can't believe we are in the second week of January already!
We had a snow/freezing rain storm yesterday. Lucky the power didn't go out! Today, we are getting rain??? But, the cold weather will return tomorrow!

Do you remember this painting?
Well, it changed! She felt cold to me. A lot going on, not at peace. She didn't feel safe.
So, I started to paint.
Here is the new, "I Am Safe To Be Me".
Now you know where my banner painting came from.

I also did another ink drawing. This one is 12" x 12".
"You Are Magic"
And, I have a question for you. Before, I created my tote bags, with a stretchy material. I would like to try the non-stretchy ones. This is a canvas bag, that can go in the washing machine and dryer. So, I was thinking for the first one, to have it with two different images and I wanted to show two that mean alot to me. My first two ink drawings, "I Am All Things Possible". What you can't see in the pictures, is that at the bottom, you will be able to see the title, "I Am All Things Possible". They're not the best of pictures, but you get an idea.
So what do you think?  These are the other two I was playing with.
Big Hugs 😀

  1. I like the way you made it glow more behind the figures in "I Am Safe to be Me." I like it better, somehow.

  2. The bags look great!
Making the background simpler really changed the mood of that painting.
Hope you don't lose power. Always seems to happen when it's really cold or really hot, right?

The hearts bring a real sense of warmth and "feel good!"😊😊
Gosh, sounds like your weather is quite similar to ours at present - all except for the snow, that is! The temperature is up and down, and we're having rain, frost, drizzle etc. Oh roll on spring!! Lol

  18. Oh yes, the revised painting looks much calmer than the original; though both are beautiful.

Love the canvas bags. Besides your beautiful art on them, I have a feeling that they might be able to carry more weight (books) than the stretch one I have. And I still love dearly. :D Great work overall, Stacy.

  20. That red, red heart adds such a nice pop of warmth! The proposed bag ideas look wonderful, and I appreciate the practicality of being able to wash them.

  21. you know that, with me, you can never go wrong if you add more red--I love the sharpness of it! Safe, indeed.

About the non-stretchy bags, I think that having variety is a good idea. Are you going to keep both options?

  22. I love what you did with her and I love the magic of the new one too. The bags are a great idea and I especially love the first one.

  23. Hi, Stacy! I liked the first version of your painting, but I like the changes you made even more. The second one is brighter, lighter, and more peaceful ~ love that pop of heart red. I like both your bag designs, but I'm quite taken by the baby crow bag. I would prefer canvas to stretchy because I'm tough on things ~ LOL! I will commiserate with you, because we are getting snow and freezing rain tomorrow. Ugh! Stay safe and warm! Sending you a big hug!

  28. as always..I love your art.
the canvas is great...but I do love the stretchy fabric! I get compliments on mine wherever I go..and it holds everything plus+.
i can see where the canvas would be extremely appealing,so to have it is a great idea!
