*My Crows* *My Art* *My Way*

Hey Everyone!
Hope you're well!
The freezing cold temperatures left us for a bit, but they are back and so is the snow! And, we are getting lots more this coming week!
At least the sun is still shining!

I've been asked to do 4 illustrations for a special project. I'm truly honoured, because it's nothing to do with crows! I'm giving myself a good week, to see how it goes. Crossing fingers, it goes well! Something totally new for me!

It will be a busy next couple of weeks, between work and trying my best with these illustrations. So, I might not be posting much, but I will be around to say hi!

I did finish an ink drawing. (6" x 8")
"Never Dim Your Light"
"Always Be You"

Big Hugs 😃

  13. Wow! A commission job. I hope it pays well. It's going to get colder here in south central Texas starting tonight. Only it won't be as cold as everyone is getting up north of us. Mid 30's at night and mid 50's during the day for a few days. Then we go back to the 70's.

  15. Congrats on the special project! I'm sure it will turn out beautifully. We've had a nasty bite of cold this way too, and there's snow on the way tonight. Meanwhile, my dog acts like this is the perfect weather. I am thankful for the existence of long underwear.

  17. Hi, Stacy! I hope that you are getting through the busyness of your job and the illustrations. I am excited that you have a chance to spread your wings into a new area of art. You're a fabulous artist and your talents will crossover, I have no doubt. We've had more snow here, and it has been cold, but nothing like the areas impacted by the polar vortex. Your bright, sunny snow pictures are gorgeous. You should have seen the beautiful smile on Terry's face when I showed him your "Never Dim Your ..." drawing. Sending you big hugs!

  21. We are freezing our bits here, too. And the sun is deceptively shiny as well. My Piano Man forgot to wear thermals and got home in real state (I tried really hard not to laugh, but failed miserably... I felt better because I had made him some warming food and tea was ready).

  24. It has been very cold down here in Connecticut until today. From freezing to springlike weather today. I know the cold will come again, but I try to enjoy the warmth when I can. :)

Interesting to hear how the 4 pieces you mentioned in your other post came about. Good luck!
