*My Crows* *My Art* *My Way*

Hi Everyone 😀
Hope you're all doing well!
The snow has arrived! I think we got the same system, that many of you went through. Heavy, wet snow! But, I have to admit, I think by this weekend, it's all going to be gone.
Nobody at the bird feeders yet, but my grey squirrel is feeding on the stump!
We've started to put up our Christmas decorations. I think this year, I'm going to put up lights in the room, where I create my art.
I did finish one piece of art. It's actually the one in my banner. It's 9" x 12" on paper, created with ink and acrylic paint. I hope you can see all the detail.
"Star Kissed"
Just to let you know, the rotating postal strike is still on. I have to admit, even if it stops, I might not open my shop till January. Like I stated before, the mail is really backed up. It's such a shame, at this time of year, but what can you do!

I want to wish all my American friends a Happy Thanksgiving and if you go out on Black Friday, be safe! We always see all these images on t.v and I can't believe how people act! In Canada, Boxing Day, is our big sale day after Christmas, but we have started to do Black Friday now, and it has become more popular.

Big Hugs 😀

  1. No Black Friday shopping for me.I like to drive past a few and see the mess.I used to put lights all around my walls where they met the ceiling.I had a lot of cats and enjoyed just turn them on and enjoy the colors.

  2. I always like it when you make a crow into a spiral. There's just something really pleasing about that to me.

I try to stay clear of the Black Friday stuff. Not a big fan of crowds, and crowds on a mission are even worse.

  4. Black Friday Shopping is sneaking in over here too, though like you Boxing Day is Australia's big sale.
I try and avoid them both.
Love, love, love your art. As always.

  5. I never do Black Friday shopping. It's too crazy. People are like animals, at their worst. I love that Star Kissed painting. Really nice. I'm so jealous that you have snow. We only got the rain and cold temperatures here in Texas. North Texas did get some snow but not much.

  6. Stacy I love Star Kissed! It has such a sparkley winter feel! Your snow is so pretty, we've only gotten the cold weather and just a dusting of snow. No black Friday for me, but I am looking forward to Thanksgiving! 🍁

  9. You got much more snow than we did. Actually ours was gone the same evening. Love that little Christmas decoration. It's so special. What a time of year for a strike. Hurts both you guys and your sales and the customers who want the products. I have never gone shopping on Black Friday...and now that I have discovered online shopping, I definitely never will.

  10. Star Kissed is simply lovely! Beautiful colors!

I think that Black Friday is gradually being replaced by Cyber Monday anyhow since many people are now deciding to be lazy and shop from their computer keyboard! No matter, I never venture out shopping on Black Friday at any rate. I am saddened however by all of the stores being forced to close around my area - I believe that much of it is due to the fact that people are doing a lot more online shopping than buying inside of a store. Me? I would much rather get my butt out of the house and shop in a store for a lot of common sense reasons. I only shop online IF I can not find what I need or am looking for in a physical store. :)

    Have a great week!

  12. Love seeing pictures of your garden. Would prefer seeing garden pictures without snow. =^,.^= The little, Christmas house is adorable. I won't put up decorations until 1. December. If I remember. :-D Love the blue in your latest painting. Very striking.

  13. Happy whatever day in Canada. Ha ha ha. I do see the details of your painting and just love it. The snow looks so nice from afar.LOL Your birds will come soon enough. I think you are right about waiting until the first of the year to reopen. I can't imagine all the mail back up. Have a wonderful week. Hugs N

  14. I know you love snow Stacy but I am so happy to have moved away from it! LOL. It has snowed and it going to be super cold over Thanksgiving where we use to live. Star Kissed is a beauty! I can't believe the strike is going on still. It is funny that so many people still go out shopping on Black Friday when you can get the same deals online (and save time and stress)!

  15. We always get the echoes of your weather, so there is snow on the ground here too. The bluejays just came back to look for food and to terrorize my empty terrace (the plants are inside) as usual. All right, so maybe I left them a couple of pots with dirt (and seeds) so that they still feel rebellious at dinner. :-D

I love the painting, especially her hair and headdress. Sooooo gorgeous!
