Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all doing well!
It has went back to normal temperatures here, after our rain storm. I just wish the rain kept going, because it's all dry again!
I have to admit, drawing my crows have consumed me! LOL! Not saying that I will never go back to painting, but for right now, I'm really enjoying this! The paper I'm using, I can paint on it too, so sometimes around the beak and eyes, I'm using acrylic paint. It's been a lot of fun creating the designs.
I've finished 3 more! You'll notice, some I have used the same names. I didn't think that mattered, because the images are different.
The first two are, "I Am All Things Possible"
My first baby crow drawing! (6" x 8")
(9" x 12")
"The Answers Are Within" (9" x 12")
Hope you enjoyed them, as much as I have been creating them!
Big Hugs 😀

Love them all. The first because of that smile (you know I adore your smirking baby crows). The last because of the emotions the wing circle brew out of me.
ReplyDeleteOh these are so special. You are so talented. I love all three of them, but I adore the first one.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are following your heart, Stacy.
ReplyDeleteI especially love the baby.
Hugs

That's another surprising and gorgeous variation on your theme! The baby crows aren't generally at the very top of my favorites of yours, but this one looks classic as a sketch.

ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautiful! Filled with empowering love XXX
ReplyDeleteWow, Stacy! Such an impressive variation on your art. I love them all. But I've fallen in love with second one; its outstanding. Your minimal use of colour in your sketches is brilliant and creates ethereal beauty.
ReplyDeleteLOVING this series. As you know.
ReplyDeleteWow...great job! And yes, the answers are within!!! Aloha!
ReplyDeleteWonderful drawings. Love the cheeky baby crow
ReplyDeleteThey're gorgeous my friend!!! Hey the cool thing too is you can easily take pens and paper with ya and draw them anywhere. You can sit outside and let the crows watch you work. FUN!!!! HUGS!
ReplyDeletebeautiful work! Pen and ink is certainly a talent with you,, they are amazing! I really like the look of pen and ink, the simplicity of it yet the complexity of it, so much detail, really makes us slow down when creating these doesn't it, I think of it as therapy lol,,beautiful work Stacy,,
ReplyDeleteOh WOW, Sweetie...I am utterly in love with these!!!
ReplyDeleteThere is so much fantastic detail and beauty in each one...oh WOW again! I am in such awe...😊😊
All my love and hugs xoxoxo
The drawings are all so beautiful and so intriguing, i love them. So glad you are enjoying the change with the pencil drawings. Just a thought but if you dont want to get out the paints for the odd little touch, have you thought about Soft pastels as a medium ? I love them and they work well with pencils. xxx
ReplyDeleteOoh, love these! The baby crow is so, so precious, and the other two have such a beautiful, spiritual quality to them... <3
ReplyDeleteI like your drawings very much!
ReplyDeleteI love the baby crow, it has this sassy look and very endearing at the same time. Your drawings are excellent.

ReplyDeleteWho's the best? You are. Just check out your own drawings, nay.... your art!
ReplyDeleteJust so you know
At the magic love crow show!
I LOVE that you are exploring new ways to bring your crows to life! "The Answers are Within" is just stunning! What I like most about it is all the little detail of what I take to be distant flying crows dissolving out of the image and framing it as well. I love it because that's probably something you wouldn't do with paint! I know I often go off down a new road when I feel overloaded with work, requests, deadlines. . . so the worst possible time to do it. lol But it works well for me to do so!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the creative exploration and just being YOU! I have a friend who is a wonderful painter and who started taking her canvases and writing on them before paint ever touched them. . .they were journal entires really, then she would paint over them and the words just sort of bled through in parts. ho knows where the mixing of these mediums will lead you? That's the adventure. :)
BIG crow hugs!!

Awesome. I always enjoy seeing your process and your artwork.
ReplyDeleteLove these. I am well, but too hot.
ReplyDeleteI am really enjoying your new art! VERY COOL!
ReplyDeleteHuge hugs!
Oh how creative your crows are! I started painting again after a high school art class. I go to the senior center in our area, love it.
ReplyDeleteLove the new look. Amazing
ReplyDeleteAll three are wonderful! I'd have to say I'm partial to baby crow. He's adorable!
ReplyDeleteKeep those drawings coming:)
ReplyDeleteAw, always good to see the baby crow! We had quite a crow adventure this summer in our neighbourhood. There were a pair of parents that kept swooping people! I think they have moved on now fortunately. I got dive bombed four times :-D
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I especially love The Answers Are Within. I love to draw and find it so therapeutic. I don't usually paint- but maybe switching things up sometimes helps us keep our ideas fresh. :) Bravo!
