Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
I've been doing lots of tree trimming and yard work. I emptied one of the bags of earth! Yepee!
Today, the temperatures are colder and we are expecting snow! But, by Monday, summer temperatures all the way. I guess the snow wanted one more appearance! LOL!

I did finish a little painting.
Here are some progress pictures.
Finished painting-
Blessings Of Love (4" x 5" flat canvas panel)

  1. The shot where the unformed crow first makes an appearance is creepy. I like it.

We're getting unseasonably cool weather down here, too. It's not snow weather, of course, but I can have the windows open at night even though it's almost May!

  5. My Rare One is busy doing yard and tree work too. Also sprouting some seeds to put in the garden -- but not before the May long weekend, in case there's a late frost!

  9. You said the S word! Rain today and Summer temps mid-week. I opted to deep clean the sun room rather than yard work. Cute baby crow chatting with a fairy friend.

  10. It seems that here we always get that one week of super nice weather when everyone thinks we've come through the winter season and then. . . wham! Miss Winter comes back for one last visit. :) We planted our garden last week so it's been a few days of extra care and bringing pots in as the temps dipped low again but yes, summer is close. . .right? :) Love the new painting!! Big Crow Hugs!!

  11. I hope you didn't get too much snow. I think we may finally be done with winter here. I have been out gardening once so far- but have many more days ahead of me. Sounds like you are making good progress too. Yeah! Also- what a lovely painting. :)

  13. Snow again? You are not serious. Did you tell the baby crow, in your painting? I don't think he knows--he looks much to happy about something springy.

  25. Your use of color is wonderful, Stacy! Those varied polygons of orange in the fairy's wings, echoing the fireworks burst of orange in the flowers is awesome. You're very strong in the use of line, too, which is so effective in your header. Don't stop painting, my friend! I'm sure that it's a great relief from strenuous yard work!
