Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well! (Lots of pictures in this post)
I was hoping to get at least one bag of earth finished, but the gate where I use the wheel barrel through, "heaves", in the winter time, so I can't open it! Instead, I have been doing a lot of yard clean up. You'll see Mr. Cardinal on the fence. He didn't mind me taking pictures.

I can't wait to get the earth down and transplant some trees. But, they say we will be getting more snow, at the beginning of April, so I will take it one day at a time!

I did manage to get two paintings completed.
Some progress pictures for you.
Finished Painting- "You Are The Gift" (10" x 20" Canvas)
Second painting, progress pictures.
Finished Painting- "On The Wings Of Love" (9" x 12" Canvas)
I think this is one of my favourite baby crow's. I really like the eyes.
We have family coming in on Friday for Easter, so just incase I don't have time to post again, Happy Easter to all who celebrate it!
Big Hugs ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  1. HOW I love your work. I am a huge fan of the corvid family and you depict their charm so well.
I too am gardening up a storm - getting ready to plant rather a lot of spring bulbs.
Thank you for referring Magaly Guerrero to my Balloon Spectacular post.

  2. Your yard looks so peaceful. Can't wait to see what it will look like all spruced up. Love the pose of the crow in Gift and the baby crow is adorable. The crows dressed up as Easter bunnies gave me a good laugh. Enjoy the holiday with your family.

  26. My outside gardening is on hold right now. I usually repot and take things to the terrace this weekend, but we are supposed to get snow showers in a few days (madness, I know).

I love that "You Are The Gift" looks as if she's dancing flamenco. :-)

  31. They've got style, all right. Your own style, and I love it. That first one is my favorite. There's something about the movement that I particularly like. Not sure why, though. But that's unimportant. What matter is.... you're great. There. I said it.

  32. wonderful new paintings!
We didn't do much for easter, as usual. Did eat too many chocolates though :)
I'm getting a few large pots to plant in soon.
It's been too hot during the afternoon so I have to get any yard work done either very early or at sunset.

  34. You're amazing, Stacy! You create beautiful picture after beautiful picture, and your subject and style are delightfully original. I hope that you had a happy Easter. We don't do much any more ~ not a hint of a bunny or eggs anywhere. The cardinals must bring you joy. They are such vibrantly colored birds. I was watching Brazilian cardinals in Queen Kapiolani Park along Waikiki. They have red heads are are pretty, but not as striking as the all red cardinals. One day at a time is my motto! Sending you a big hug!
