Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
Well, we survived the snow storm! It was heavy to shovel!
And, guess what?? There is more to come! LOL!

I am happy to say, that I finished my Ukrainian Dancers painting! It was fun to create, especially with all the little details.
Here is some of the progress pictures.

  8. Your Ukrainian dancer crows look like cute little goblins.

They actually also look like a mythical Indian man-eating monster called the Khokkosh,as per 19th century illustrations.

  15. The Ukrainian dancers are awesome! It's raining here in Va. We haven't had any snow this year at all. Just a dusting. Haven't even pulled out a shovel. I love the beauty of snow, but alas there is none to be had in this part of the country. May as well be living in Florida!!

  16. I love that you did this just now. My kids (now mostly grown up) and I have always picked a country to learn about each year, and then at the holidays, we incorporate some of their foods or traditions. This year my 18 yo old son, who has never really been the one to suggest countries, asked that we learn about the Ukraine. So, for me, this is very timely. Also, perfectly lovely and colorful and joyful. Love your art!
