Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all doing well!
I know many of us are still dealing with slow blogger, for publishing our comments! We have to hang in! It can only get better, right?? πŸ˜ƒ

I have finished some paintings. Here are some progress pictures of the first one.
Finished painting, "Step Into Your Greatness" (8" x 10" linen canvas paper)
I also created some leggings and a flare dress from this design.

There is one more painting. I have to admit, out of all the baby crows I have painted, for me, this one has and shows a lot of feeling in it. It took me awhile to paint this one. I enjoyed creating all the different textures in her body.
"Love Is The Foundation" (8" x 10" linen canvas paper)
I have a friend, who is becoming a father for the first time. So, I want to create a pair of baby crow leggings! Wish me luck. It's hard to get a baby crow looking right on leggings! LOL!

I will leave you with a picture of mom's Christmas Cactus. She is in full bloom. A late Christmas present!
Big Hugs 😊

  9. Hi, Stacy! The Christmas cactus is amazing and warms up its corner of the world. I'm looking at the snow behind it. We have snow and cold here today ~ No crows in sight; they're all hunkered down somewhere. You know what makes your baby crow pop ~ imho ~ You made its eye so real that it's hard to look anywhere else. Compare it with your crow in your header ~ not that your header crow isn't beautiful, but its eye isn't nearly as alive. The dress is striking, my friend. Sending you love and hugs!

Your painting looks great in legging and dress form too. I can imagine it can be tricky to get the design to work for leggings and dresses.

Wishing you the best of luck getting a baby crow on the leggings. :) The Christmas cactus is so pretty. Does it survive on and on as a house plant? I may want one of those someday!
