Hi Everyone 😀
Hope you're all well!
We finally got a good amount of snow and it was easy for shovelling, because it was nice and fluffy.
This snow fall happened a few days ago and since then, we have been in a deep freeze. The nice part about this deep freeze, it has been sunny everyday!

I just finished a painting, I've been working on now for about 3 weeks.
Here are some progress pictures. There is a lot of photos. Hopefully you will be able to see the detail that was added in each one. Took me quite awhile to get the crows to look exactly the way I wanted them. (click on the pics to make them bigger)

And, finally, the finished painting. Which, I have to admit, I haven't decided the name yet. Either it's going to be "Big Crow Hugs" or "Crow Hugs".  (10" x 20" canvas)
Some close up detail.

My crows are changing again. I can see it and feel it in the last few paintings.

Big Hugs 😃

  8. What materials are you using? Oil on canvas?

I'm afraid I have nowhere near as much patience as you. My paintings are usually done in one session, and on such surfaces as paper and wood, with acrylics.

    Pathetic, I know.

    1. Hi Bill! You are not pathetic! That is the way you're art is coming out of you right now.
I use acrylics and I usually paint on canvas, or linen paper, sometimes birch wood too.
      Keep painting my friend!
