Hi Everyone!
Hope you're holidays have been going well!
Slowly, I've been trying to catch up with you.
We've had lots of snow, and have been in a deep freeze, since before Christmas, and there is no letting up.
The days are around -20 and the nights around -30. We actually hit a record low today. Our temperatures are in Celsius. So for my American friends, that would be -4 to -22 Fahrenheit. I know it's snowy and cold, but I truly find it so refreshing!

I'm not sure if I will be making another post before Christmas, so I want to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas!! I am so grateful for all of you!! I'm sending Happiness and Love.

Just to let you know, the heat came back on Tuesday, but before that happened, we were without electricity for about 5 hours! LOL! Fun stuff!

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
This past week/weekend, we were in a deep freeze, lucky, the temperatures have went up, but it's still cold.
Guess what happened on Saturday? The furnace went bye, bye! Yep! Lucky we have a gas fire place on the main floor, but we are still dressing with our "woolies" around the house! LOL! Our furnace guy came in today. Mom was praying we didn't need a new furnace. Our's is pretty old! A good 20+ years! Mom was told today, the circuit board was gone. So, hopefully tomorrow, he will have the part. Which will be "Tuesday". Crossing fingers it gets fixed by then, but if not, hopefully before Christmas! Mom is just happy, she didn't have to get an entire new furnace.

I don't know about all of you, but when it's cold at night for sleeping, I sleep so well! I love it! One good part of not having the heat on! LOL!

I did start a new painting! Here is some progress pictures!

That big baby crow above, made me laugh! I didn't like the eyes and I thought he looked to "prickly" for me. Not soft. So, this is what I came up with.

I think I like it now. Hopefully it will be finished before Christmas!

We finally got a good amount of snow and it was easy for shovelling, because it was nice and fluffy.

This snow fall happened a few days ago and since then, we have been in a deep freeze. The nice part about this deep freeze, it has been sunny everyday!

I just finished a painting, I've been working on now for about 3 weeks.
Here are some progress pictures. There is a lot of photos. Hopefully you will be able to see the detail that was added in each one. Took me quite awhile to get the crows to look exactly the way I wanted them. (click on the pics to make them bigger)

And, finally, the finished painting. Which, I have to admit, I haven't decided the name yet. Either it's going to be "Big Crow Hugs" or "Crow Hugs".  (10" x 20" canvas)

It's dark by 4:30pm and it's getting colder! I love this time of year! The only thing that's hard, is catching the sun, to take pictures of my art!

I do hope we get snow for Christmas. The one snow fall we had, is all gone. It's been green grass for a few weeks now.

I got the cutest kind of flirty hug, I have to tell you about. A "gentleman" I know, "Friends". Did something really nice for me and I said to him, thank you so much, would you like a piece of cake? ( I don't know why I said that, but I meant it as to show him, I really appreciated what he did) He says, is that what you call it (LOL), then grabs me and gives me a Big Hug! I had to go on my tippy toes! LOL! It was so genuine and sweet. Made me smile! Isn't that cute? And, if you are wondering, there was no hesitation from me! LOL! Made my day 😊

I did finish the last painting I showed. This is where I left off.
