Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all doing well!
In between working on my special order painting for Finland, I've been doing some research.
For the past 2 years, and 2017, would be the third year, a company has kept e-mailing me, about if I would be interested in putting my art on their clothes. I kept deleting the e-mails. Well, on January 1st, I get another e-mail from them stating, that they are really serious.
I thought, well, they have sent these many e-mails to me, maybe I should look into it. There are many designers from all over the world, who do this with them. The company is very well known and they give back to the communities, that produce their clothing, (like literacy programs).
From what I understand, they reach out to the designers they want. Then I have to start designing! I get to pick what I want my art on. Let's say it's a t-shirt. I decide the background colour, and where to place my art. I could have a heart on the sleeve and a baby crow in the front.
I think it's pretty exciting! I also have to take a picture of my signature, because it will be on every piece that is mine. Isn't that cool??? Deciding if I should write Stacy MagicLoveCrow, or MLC, or Stacy MLC, or Stacy MLC MagicLoveCrow or MagicLoveCrow! LOL!
It's going to take some time, because I have to sit down and really design every piece of garment. Even though it will take time, I think it's going to be fun.
This is an example of some of their "dressier" tops.
Then they have boyfriend t-shirts and tanks.
This sheer wrap, I think would look really dramatic in black, with one of my "Moon Crow's" on the back.
I also love this tote.
There are scarves in all shapes and pillows, but I don't know about that for right now? Maybe the pillows, but I was thinking on a scarf, you wouldn't be able to see the art? But, then I was thinking, someone might display it in their home?
I have all these ideas running through my head! LOL! The good thing is, I can do two designs and maybe a month later add another.
On my right hand side bar, the crow with the moon, that says, Never Dim Your Light For Nobody, I think that would be a cool one for a t-shirt.
There are also dresses. I think they add different styles of clothes through the seasons.
"When" I get this all going, I will show everything to you!
If there is anything you would like to see on a garment, let me know. From past art work, to new art work. I have to sit down and really think of what paintings I want on the clothes.
Big Hugs
