Our plans changed. It was a quiet Christmas, but still a nice one!
It's been a busy week and I'll be catching up with all of you in the next few days!

I can't believe 2017 is just around the corner!
I know I've said this many times before, but you are going to hear it from me again! I am so grateful for all of you! 😊😊😊  You have been with me, through everything! I cherish each and everyone of you! Thank you!!!!!

2016 was my "awakening" year! Truly loving me! Controlling my life, not other's. Seeing everyone for who they truly are. Seeing every situation for what it truly is. Forgiving. Healing. Letting go. Etc.

2017, this is all going to continue! And, I am going to kick butt and conquer! I might fall down once and awhile, but I am going to get up again and not let fear get in the way! I am worthy! We are all worthy!

You know me, I will be sharing everything with you!

I've been painting, but the sun has not been around! But, I will give you some sneak peaks.
This first painting, "I Am Worthy", I've been working on it for about 2 weeks now.

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
Sunday night, the snow finally stopped! I was so happy! I love snow, but it was a lot to shovel! We have been getting a little break, but the snow is suppose to come back Wednesday night and all day Thursday. I think I'm just going to drive my car over it! LOL!

Thank you for all your comments on my older art! It was fun looking back at my baby crows! More baby crows will be coming soon! I didn't realize how much I missed painting them, until I looked at the photos!

I did finish a new painting!

On Wednesday December 21st, we move from the darkest time of the year (in the Northern Hemisphere), to the first day of bringing back the light. Happy Winter Solstice! Happy Yule!

For Christmas, we have family and friends coming for the weekend. I will be around checking in on all of you, but I probably won't be posting anything till after December 25th.

I don't know where this image came from, but when I found it, I had to place it on this post. I think it's so beautiful, just like all of you!

Since the last time I posted, we've had another snow storm!

I've just cleaned up from that one and we are suppose to be getting hit with another tomorrow! I guess we are getting a white Christmas this year!

Speaking of Christmas, Sandra made a comment on my blog, saying, she was expecting to see a crow with a Santa's hat. I had to really think, when was the last time I really painted any Christmas/Winter themes. I know I have painted a few, off and on, but the last time I really painted any, was about 4-5 years ago!! I can't believe it's been that long! Glad, I kept some pictures of my older paintings.

Hey Everyone!
I just finished another painting and since it stopped snowing for a bit, I ran outside to take a picture!

"Allow Your Heart To Guide You"
It's on a 9" x 12" wood panel. The top is Russian birch.

I've been "off" for  awhile, meaning, with the way I have been feeling in my mind!  Letting fear set in! I thought I was over this, but I guess there are still things I am working through, when it comes to loving myself. I have been down the road before with "losing weight" (trying to be healthier). And, I really thought this time, doing it for me, not someone else, it would be different. "But",  I started to feel down and yes, I have been eating! Don't worry, I haven't gained all my weight back! Just a little! But, still, I had to really meditate and think about things. It's like I have a security blanket and I am so afraid of letting it go. (The security blanket is my weight, but also my life.) Why am I so afraid? Because, it's something totally new? Am I afraid of the unknown? I think it's that and change. Since I started this at the beginning of the year,  (loving myself), there has been so much change in me. And, I know this change is going to continue, greatly!

I'm ready! I'm scared! LOL! But, I'm ready! To reach the next step, "journey", of my life, I have to conquer this! I will get there!!!

I'm following my heart (spirit) and letting my mind (ego) go!

We had our first "real" snow fall today, but a lot of it has already melted! Last year was a green Christmas! I hope this year we will have snow!

I'm working on a special order for Finland! I'm so excited and grateful!

In-between working on that piece, I have finished another painting.

I'm very pleased how this painting turned out.

I feel my art changing again! It's hard to explain, when this happens to me. It's a shift inside of me. We'll see what happens!

Hi Everyone! Happy December!
Hope you're all well!
I started back at the gym, but not pushing myself. The first day I was back, I almost past out on the tread mill! Lucky I caught myself! LOL! It's amazing when you think you're feeling better, but your body is still recovering!

I've finished some paintings! The weather has been so yucky! Grey skies and rain! Lucky today, I got some photos! I have to admit, because I am so picky, I will be taking photos again, when the sun comes out, but these will have to do for now. Enjoy!

"Love Life" (4" x 4" canvas)

I really wanted to do another "3 Eyed Crow". This painting is called "I See". (8" x 10" canvas) My mom thought this painting was really out there! LOL! Some of you might think so too, but personally, I loved the way it turned out!

Do you remember me throwing away some art, on the wood panels? Well, the store I bought them from, weren't that nice! I found another art store and they are such good people! Anyways, had a long conversation with the lady and she gave me some pointers. So, I bought different wood boards, that I am proud to say, are made in Canada, and with her pointers, everything is working out perfectly!
