Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
Happy November! I can't believe it's November already! This year is flying by!
Remember I was telling you about a painting I had in my mind? Well, I started it! It's a large painting, 12" x 24". I still have to paint the crow's claw and do some more finishing touches on the crow.
Now, if you can image, the crow will be a focal point, in the background. In front, will be a magical white tree. I haven't figured out all the details yet, but I have been doing some rough drawings.
If this works out, I think it will be very cool looking! Wish me luck! LOL!
Big Hugs

It already is cool looking to me! You've captured the essence perfectly. Black crows always seem eerie to me...I think I've seen too many horror movies.
ReplyDeleteIt's looking great! By the way your painting is on my wall but I haven't taken any pictures. I must remember to sometime!

ReplyDeleteHappy weekend, Stacy:)
Hi Stacy! Your work is unique and captivating. I've fallen in love with your art, ever since I saw the "Love" crow at Magaly Guerrero's "Witches in Fiction 2016". If there's a way to get that piece? I would be delighted to hear, as your etsy account says otherwise. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the crow! And I think the magical white tree will be perfecto!
ReplyDelete:-)
The crow is already awesome, and I wonder what it will look like with the magical white tree. The idea alone makes me smile - having seem so many of your beautiful paintings I'm positive that it will look gorgeous. I look forward to seeing the finished painting.
ReplyDeleteSo you do sketch on different papers for the background? That's a good idea, probably gives some inspiration when you are not sure what to do with another background as well :-)
