Errr... I have to tell you, I was behind with blogging for 5 days now, because it has been so slow uploading and then when I would comment, the comments would disappear! But, I kept going and I think I have finally caught up!!!
Thank you for your kind comments on my last post about the gym. I had some questions, which I will answer now.
1. My happiness/smiles, is not an act! That is me! The only time I don't smile at the gym, is when I am concentrating, usually that means, I don't want to fall over, LOL! And, the other time, is when I am sitting and I have to lift my arms, and do things with my legs at the same time. I close my eyes at this time. It seems to give me inner strength.
2. When I am at the gym, I usually work out for an hour and when I am with my trainer, usually an hour and a half. I was working out 6 days a week, but I am going to do 5 days for now. I think it was a little too much on my body! My right knee gave out on me last week! It hasn't happened in such a long time! Scared me and it hurt! But, I am feeling better now!
3. No recipes for right now! I still haven't tried the brownie recipe! As soon as I do, I will share! Honestly, for me, I have cut out, milk, cheese etc. I have cut down on bread, pasta, and potato in take. I eat apples, bananas, tuna, salmon, good vegetables, avocados, porridge, chicken, etc. I have had my bad days!! But, I am still going!
November 14th, is two months since I have started. I have lost 22 pounds so far!
Do you remember this??
Well, I have darkened the lines and added the final details. I have completed it, but a name still hasn't called to me. So, I will show you some of the painting, until a name comes to me.

ReplyDeleteOf course your smile is real!!! How could anyone doubt it...you radiate a kind of happiness that is rare o see. *and I loves that painting very gothic* XXX
ReplyDeleteSweetie, I would never doubt that your smile is genuine...whenever I see it, it truly warms my heart!:)
ReplyDeleteAnd how I love your gorgeous paintings...they are all so "alive" and vibrant.
It is always such a pleasure to visit...:))
Much Love & Hugs xoxoxo
LOVE how you finished off the crow! Such a beautiful use of lines and movement. And your knee!!! I feel your pain. Both my knees went out when I was 22, and they frequently give me trauma. Here's wishing you quick healing and that the pounds keep coming off. You've got this!
ReplyDeleteI am doing a happy dance for you and clapping loudly! Well done on the weight loss 22 pounds so far ... just brilliant!
ReplyDeleteDo please take care of your knee, whilst enjoying your time in the gym.
I always love visiting your blog and seeing the crow in your banner.
Loved seeing the photo's of your unnamed painting ... it's going to be fun finding out what name you choose!
Enjoy the rest of your week
All the best Jan
22#s! Woo Hoo!
ReplyDeleteI love this piece. Very mystical.
Like the details!
ReplyDeleteSix days a week would do me in. Four or five is good. Gives your muscles time to heal in between.
And I keep trying to follow through the GFC, but it keeps giving me an error. I do have you in my Feedly reader though.
DeleteLove the details on the crow painting. I really admire your tenacity and inner strength to keep up a schedule like that and to eat right! You are an inspiration for sure.
ReplyDeleteoh Stacy its beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour crow is looking so gorgeous! I'm so happy for you that you're enjoying your gym process. I am looking forward to getting back to the gym soon.
ReplyDelete22 pounds, that's awesome!!!! And your crow is beautiful! Can't wait to see what name calls to you. This really is a spectacular one Stacy, love it!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your weight loss. It's not easy, I know. Love the art work as usual. :)
ReplyDeleteYou have to give your body a chance to recover. The gym is good. Too much gym can be ungood.

Hi Stacy! Good to know when people can do good changes with their bodies, like you.Great going!
ReplyDeleteI also think that your paintings have become more mastery :))
Love your paintings. Definitely don't overdo it! That's a problem weightlifters have. They spend so much time at the gym building bulk, but their joints aren't built to handle that much stress.
ReplyDeletelove how this painting is coming together! and good for you to stay on such a great routine for both the gym and your diet!
ReplyDeleteI am so proud of you Stacy! 6 days is too much. They say your body needs time to recover between workouts. The foods you cut out remind me of Oprah. I remember her saying she cut out all white foods at one point. It is funny, white foods tend to make us gain weight. :) Your new painting is so stunning!
ReplyDeleteI think this is so far my most favourite one of your paintings, looks really beautiful <3 And take time to recover between your workouts!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your lifestyle change. :) Way to go!
ReplyDeleteYour painting is absolutely gorgeous, Stacy!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry about your knee giving out! I know that pain to well. I have both knees give out on me and no cartilage left in either one. I opted out of knee replacement surgery so I live with the pain each day...it was my choice.
I love your lifestyle changes...you go girl!!!
Hugs and Love
xoxoxo
So impressed about your lifestyle change. That is something that takes so much willpower!!! Proud of you Stacy. Recovering is also a part of it :-) Love your painting and the way your art is developing :-) Big hugs!!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you had undertaken such a "lifestyle change", as someone put it above in the comments. I wish you the best of luck!
ReplyDeleteI have recently made friends with a woman who has lost almost 100 pounds over the last 2-3 years, purely down to better food choices. Her mind is still playing catch-up but her physical well-being has improved 10-fold.
