Hi Everyone
I have the winner for the "Dark Pleasures" painting.
First, I want to thank Holly again, for another great Vampire's Day Soiree!
Now, I have to say, I laughed when I picked the winner for this painting! She has won many of my paintings and if she wants to pass it to someone else, I won't be offended, but if not, it is yours Magaly!!!!!

Just to let you know, I am planning something special! As soon as I get the painting completed!

I would like to leave you with the painting I just finished.
Remember this?
I didn't leave it as a "background".
I flipped it the other way and created, "Prayer" (5" x 7" canvas)

How do you like my self portrait, on the side bar? LOL!
Have a great one! Big Hugs!

  1. Congratulations Magaly!!!
Stacy, dear friend, you sure did feel like painting...this is stunning!!!
I think your self portrait is so you ;)

    Hugs & Love

  2. Give it away? Someone would have to rip it out claws and teeth. It's red and black. It's mine!

But you know what? You are right. I do own a lot of art yumminess. You've just given me an idea: I think that I will pay forward some of the yum in April. But not this one. This wild dreamer is MINE!!!

    Thank you sooo much!

*I'm doing all kinds of happy dances*

  3. Haha! I came to leave a comment, read Magaly's and completely lost my train of thought. That lucky gal is surely ery enthusiastic and...descriptive!!
    Lots of love dear friend!!

  4. congrats to Magaly!!!!more beautiful work Stacy!! You have such a great energy about you,,

  5. Congrats to the lucky winner! Prayer is so beautiful. I love the spanning wings! Great self portrait Stacy. :) I love the new side bar photos and the stunning background of your blog!

  6. Stacy, Prayer is a wonderful painting! Funny, we have a crow here we call the "Soap Box Preacher" because he/she tends to sit on a stump when calling for others to come and eat. We recognize that crow by the white tips on the wings (definitely an offspring of the one we called "Frosty" last year!) So it reminds us of a nun's habit. lol Anyway, this one will puff itself up and looks so regal and contemplative (prayerful?) and then, out of nowhere, starts the full-body heaving caw from the stump! Preach on crow! So funny!

  7. I love your self portrait. Very you. Congratulations to your winner. I also love what you did with the new painting. Hugs

  8. Haha, Magaly would never give that away (I agree me neither hehe), CONGRATS to her & I am missing you Sweet Stacy, I must get my blog/Etsy into gear, I selfishly loved having you around on Facebook & I have been so slack with everything else xox

  9. Love the new painting! Your self portrait is cute, looks very happy!

  10. Me encanta tu autorretrato :D
Y no puedo dejar de mirar la imagen de la cabecera, ¡es preciosa!
    Abrazos para ti <3

  11. chance Magaly is going to pass up a blood tinged crow :D XXX

  12. Your praying crow is wonderful and I love the background. Love the selfie too! :)

I think you answered your own question in the last post...follow your heart and no one else's when it comes to your art. If a day comes and you wish to paint ducks or spoons instead of crows, then that is what you should do. Backgrounds or none...abstract or winged beings or people...paint what you love and what speaks to you.

  13. This is gorgeous and perfect for Magaly! By the way, I love your self-portrait and how you've made your eyes into "hearts" there. :)

  14. "Prayer" is stunning! Good idea to flip the background around - it sometimes works like magic, doesn't it? Congratulations to the lucky winner!
Your self portrait in the sidebar made me laugh! That sassy red leaf is super!

  15. Congratulations Magaly! You can never have too many Magic Love Crow crows! "Prayer" is beautiful. I am so glad you flipped that background around! Oh your self portrait is amazing! I love it! Will you do my portrait so I can post it on my blog...Pleeeeeze? Hugs, R

  16. Boo hoo I always miss these give aways. I do love the Prayer one. I have been lax in visiting my friends, its been really busy around here. I have been baking. That does not come easy for me. Anyway, just catching up and saying hello. Luv Janice

  17. Congrats to the lucky winner!!
I am so glad you transformed "Background" into "Prayer"!
I adore both sides, and now I have two gorgeous paintings to enjoy! Thank you so much!!:))

    Big Hugs xoxoxo

  18. Congratulations to Magaly! I love your "Prayer" painting, the way the wings are is beautiful!

Thank you for taking the time to comment! I'm very grateful! Your words are very special to me! Big Hugs!
