I hope everyone is well! I'm doing excellent! The weather has been totally weird! I live north of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and people are still cutting their lawn! Nope! I am not doing it! LOL! But, I think I have all my Spring gardening done!
For the past few days, I have been trying to go through blog land and say hi to everyone. I found everything was going so slow and then when I tried to comment, the comment wouldn't go through. So, I kept visiting and reading and then I finally realized, you had to click the, I am not a robot box and then click on pictures? Sometimes, I had to do this like 3 times, some of grass, some of street signs. What is up with this? Well, I hope you got some of my comments. It was getting frustrating!
I have been doing some painting ;o) Click on the pics to make them bigger!
The first one is called "On Fire". It's a 16" x 20" canvas. I always paint from my heart, as you know!
This painting took me many hours and days to complete. It is about when we feel we are at our lowest and we have to walk through those flames, to gain strength, to truly love and believe in our self! I hope you can see all the detail.
"Break Out" 10" x 10" canvas
This painting is exactly what the title says! Break Out! When you have had enough! You are letting go and starting your journey!
"You Are Safe" 10" x 20" canvas
Big Hugs

Looks like you're breaking out. :) Nice to see you incorporating portraits with your crows. The second one is my favorite as there's a hint of mystery.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're doing well, Stacey! Yes, I got your comments yesterday -- thanks for persevering through that bloody "I am not a robot" nonsense. Some times Blogger activates it and sometimes not. It's so aggravating!
ReplyDeleteHey Stacy, the more we blog, the more frustrating haha, I have issues constantly with disappearing comment which take I guess past 'allowed' comment time?? Anyway, love your new work my friend & so awesome to see your art on Magaly's post, it was a perfect combination :) Take care sweetie & talk soon xox
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear from you and see your artings. I'm a bad Oma, in that I still haven't made it to the post office with your acorns, but it is on my Monday "get it done" list. So hopefully you'll put me back on the good list by Christmas. tee hee. xoxo Oma Linda
ReplyDeleteBeautiful new paintings Stacy. I love those backgrounds you created! Our weather is quite strange so. I am loving it since we are saving on on home heating oil costs! Blogger can be really picky. Sometimes I find it will work normal again if I use a different search engine.
ReplyDeleteOh wow - your art is amazing Stacy!!! I love that there are such a deep meaning inside it!!! Hope you got my email - I looove my stones sweat Stacy!!! Big hugs'
ReplyDeleteHI Stacy, these are all wonderful and I love your technique, it's new and anazing. My computer is down and it's hard dealing with a small iPad . I will be getting back to my blog soon and I will write you again. Hope all is well with you and Mom.
ReplyDeleteVery nice art work. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSo good to see you back here and thank you for all your sweet comments. I love your paintings! You are so inspiring!

ReplyDeleteYour paintings are so beautiful! Yes, a lot of people have got those I am not a robot boxes now, I find the games where you pick pictures kind of fun, at the moment, we will see how I feel in a few months, ha ha!
ReplyDeleteHello Sweet Lady. I did get your comments and thank you so much for stopping buy. Yes the "I am not a robot" pick out the pictures got me at first too and I also have to do it several times. Now for your art. I am loving this new direction you have taken. Still with your forever emotional Ravens but the abstract vision is so bold. Hugs to you and give one to you mom.
ReplyDeleteQuestion, when you read the "I am not a robot" bit does your brain do it in "robot voice" or is that just my weird brain? :-) your new artwork is stunning. I'm sure it comes as no surprise that "On Fire" really grabbed my attention. Keep up the good work dear one and keep on blazing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and astounding ... as always dear Stacy! Love them ALL!!!
ReplyDeleteI loved them all but the "break out" looks like it is made of bliss and freedom!! You are so talented!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving this recent new style, Stacy--the crow standing guard while the woman closes her eyes and searches, and finds.... Just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I can't stand the "I'm not a robot" thing!
DeleteBeautiful work, Stacy! I really love "Breakout"! The weather here is silly, too, one day really warm and then it goes down about 20 degrees at night! Much better than freezing cold or snow though in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteLove your new works Stacy! Our weather keeps going back and forth too... but we are to have snow by the end of the week. Can't hold of winter any longer I guess! I shouldn't complain we've had an incredible autumn! Hugs friend! ~ Diane
ReplyDeleteloving the art Stacy! and it's nice to see you working bigger canvases. I miss blogging so much I think I am coming back to it soon..Facebook isn't the same.
