I have to tell you first, there is going to be some swearing in this post! You have been warned ;o) LOL! I don't want to offend anyone ;o)

You all know, I have had one fucked up 2014! I could say, a year, I would love to forget. I actually for some of the months stopped living! I hate people who manipulate, who are sneaky, who lie! I hate them even more, when they think they are better than you! And, make you feel, you have no self worth! I have always said, a person with a dollar and a person with a million dollars, is the same in my eyes! It's your soul, I only care about! I also hate when these people bring out the worst in you. Things that you never thought were in you!

Now, I have to say, as much as I would love to forget about this year, when I look back, I have had many blessings too! And, when I look at the people who wronged me, I have to thank them too, because I didn't realize how much I didn't love me! I also have to remember, they didn't make me stop living, I did it to myself! No blame. I have to take full responsibility! Hard to do!

You know, I didn't even dance on my birthday! Remember this? Yuck! LOL! This was my birthday!

Those yellow jackets were telling me to look inside my soul! That's why they swelled my eyes shut! You know I believe in signs!

Well, I get it now! It's time to take my power back! It's time to live and put myself first! It's time to truly love me ;o) Yes, I have to admit, I am still going through shit, but everyday is better, and I do truly believe ;o) You say in what? I believe in me ;o)

Speaking of signs, in 2013, I was given a purple glass heart from a friend. Well, when I was dusting my bedroom in 2013, I put it somewhere and I forgot where it was? All this year, I have been looking for my purple glass heart! Just last week I found it! Don't know why I put it in one of my drawers? But, when I held it, I thought of a saying Oma Linda had on her blog. "Daddy Jack's Saying- If you find a thing lost for many years, it will be the answer to dry those tears." When I looked at this heart, the answer came pure and simple to me, "love".

A quote from one of my Goddess Cards, " The lower levels of human bickering, judgment, and chaos are just that: lower levels. I choose to do my work from the level of the higher consciousness, where love reigns supreme. It's here where the most good can be done. So, focus your thoughts on the good things that you can find in people and rise above all appearances otherwise." "Unconditionally forgiving yourself and others and opening your heart to more love!" (forgiving is hard to do, especially forgiving yourself!)

Ok, lets get this party started! Enough being serious! LOL! I want to dance ;o) This song below, is my song for 2015 ;o) "Time Of Our Lives".  You may not know this song, or you may not like this song, but for me, please turn up the volume and dance ;o) If you don't want to dance, just turn up the volume ;o) I'm watching you! LOL! Let's put out some good energy, to welcome in 2015 ;o) No more worrying! I'm trusting with all the love in my heart ;o)

Big Hugs and Many Blessings everyone ;o) We have family coming over today and they are staying for a few days. Tomorrow is turkey day ;o) Yummy ;o) 26th, back on to diet! LOL!
It's funny, when I look back to last year, we had the major ice storm! We were without power for 4 days! Not this time! We have spring like temperatures and the grass is showing. I hope for snow tomorrow ;o) 

Happy Winter Solstice ;o)

For those of you who don't know, Winter Solstice, is the shortest day of the year. It happens when the sun's daily maximum height in the sky is at it's lowest, and the North Pole is tilted furthest away from the sun. When this occurs, you have the least number of daylight hours and the longest night of the year.
The Solstice is celebrated for the re-birth of the sun ;o) The end of the Solar Year has come, and a New Solar Year begins ;o)

On this special day, I would like to do a giveaway ;o) I feel, for not only me, so many of us, have had a very hard year and many of us are still going through things! For me, it came down to a lot of how I felt about me! Me loving me ;o) So, as the sun returns, I feel I have returned too ;o)

I found this book of poetry in my favourite store and I have to admit, I bought one for myself ;o) By J.K.E Rose. She is from southern Ontario, Canada ;o)
"The Dragon In The Room" "Is Love Too Much To Ask For?"

"The Introduction reads,
Hundreds of years ago I had a mother born in Ireland. I think the Vikings must have raided her village because I have an affinity for the Norse- I am tall, I am blonde, I am stoic- stereotypically and perhaps completely inaccurately Norse.

Anyway, as I gathered my poems, I realized they were really a broken saga....strength challenged, strength lost, strength found- How to make sense of them? The Viking futhark, both alphabet and symbol language, would be the guideposts to follow on the road to me, wherever that is. I have kind of thrown myself in front of you gambling that my saga is much like yours and my words will make sense to you. This book is maybe more terrible warning than good example but I have learned important things- don't hesitate to love; don't hesitate to leave; and don't pretend there are no dragons.

If life is a journey so is love- it can be either a forced march between prisons or an epic quest. I am finished with forced marches. Now I am on an epic quest chasing dragons- within and without- because I know with all my heart that love is not too much to ask for."

"After The End"
There is a Japanese art called "Kintsukuroi". It is a way of making something beautiful out of something broken. Shattered fragments are put back together with molten gold and silver. The piece is returned to its original shape but with all fractured lines held together by veins of precious metal. The scars are visible. The scars are what make each piece unique. And I think that is so for all of us. We all have scars from battle, win and lose, and the scars tell all our stories. We are held together by our healed wounds and we glitter like dragon treasure when the sun hits us.

I had a dream the other night and when I got up, I couldn't stop painting!
In my dream, I was inspired by Gina ;o) Gina creates everything amazingly! You name it, Gina does it! Everything she makes, you can feel the passion.
Gina paints what she calls, "Bubble People". They don't have any faces, but you sure can feel everything! Hope you don't mind me showing these Gina! ;o)

So, in my dream, I saw my crows, with Gina's faces ;o) They were "Crow People" to me ;o)
This is my first one, and I am keeping it ;o)

It's Snowing

I know "They" say Winter is the time when everything goes to sleep, but it's when I come alive! LOL! I just got new hot pink snow pants and it's snowing! Yepeee! This photo makes me laugh! I hope it makes you laugh too ;o)

New Crow Art

This painting is now on hold, but I still had to show you ;o) So many of you who do mixed media art, say, you see an image in the background, after you have painted, well that's what happened to me with this angel. I knew this painting was going to be called "Blessings" when I started it, but when I looked closer, I could see the angel. I thought that was really special ;o)

And, my special order that I am doing. 6 paintings all together. I have finished number 3 ;o)
