I've been slowing trying to catch up with you all ;o) Yes, I know I am still behind, sorry! ;o)
For the last few weeks, I have been in my "wondering" moods. Yes, I have been crying, but I have been thinking a lot too. Too much! My mind has been too clogged to paint! Not good! I have to say, since October of last year, I said to my mom, I feel great change. I don't know if it's just with me, with our family, but I just feel things are changing. Usually, "my intuition" is right. Sometimes, it scares me! I know this is part of why I have been so emotional!
I went to one of my favourite stores today. It's a hippie/spiritual/feel good store ;o) Sometimes, people just go in there to talk. People are truly themselves there. You start talking to strangers, and by the end of the conversation, you feel like you have known them for years! It's a special store ;o)
I was talking to the owner and I started to "cry". I told her, it's been a crazy year. She said to me, it's good to release, it's good to cry. I'm getting rid of all the stuff. It's better to get rid of it, than to keep it in. She gave me a hug and said things are coming to you Stacy. Good things. It's your turn. I looked at her and said, what do you mean? She said, I bet you have always put other people before yourself. Doing things for everyone, but yourself. I said, maybe? ;o) LOL! She said, well, it's now your turn ;o)
I don't know how we got onto the conversation, but I told her I was an artist. She said, Stacy, you never told me! So, I went home, and quickly got some of my paintings and went back to the store ;o)
You know how you can tell when someone really likes something? Well, I could tell, she really liked my art ;o) Her eyes were smiling ;o)
Then I almost fainted! LOL! She told me, she is doing a wall of local artists ;o) She looked at my Etsy shop and told me, she likes all my pieces. What???? She would like to have this wall all set up in a week. What?????? And, if I do any new pieces by then, for me to show her. What????
So, I have put my Etsy shop on Vacation mode for now ;o)
I guess it's time to paint? LOL! The Universe has spoken! LOL!
I have to make little description cards for the paintings too ;o)
Is it Christmas yet? Nope, I still have to rake leaves ;o) LOL!
I'm excited and nervous all at the same time ;o)
I want to thank all of you for not giving up on me this year! You're truly special to me!
