New Crow Art

Hi Everyone ;o)
I want to thank you all for the well wishes with my knee/leg ;o) It looks like it might take a good 6 weeks for it to be healed up properly. I find sleeping is the worst time, and trying to bend it going up and downstairs. But, walking around, (not bending it much), is the best time because it keeps the circulation going. It will pass ;o) I am keeping positive ;o)

I did finish some art ;o) (click on pics to make them bigger)
The first 3 are some new aceo's, (2.5" x 3.5") All witches ;o)

"Sisters"
"The Caster"

"Special Delivery"
The next painting, is an 8" x 10" canvas. I had so much fun creating this one! I love the expression of the crows. The background has many layers of paint. I hope you enjoy it ;o)
It's called, "Latching Onto You". I love the song and was inspired by it ;o) After the pictures, I have included the lyrics to the song, (video), if you would like to see it ;o)
Big Hugs ;o)

  8. Yay! for feeling better. I love the "Sisters" and all their bling. And "Latching On to You" is quite striking, too.

I'm still feeling crappy from my pulled muscle and now conjunctivitis and a summer cold. I suspect all the illnesses got together to bother at one time and then leave me alone. Yes, that's what going on. ;-D

  17. Your new paintings are wonderful!

I'm sending positive thoughts your way for your knee. Have you ever tried magnetic hematite? I use a triple power bracelet on my right hand which helps to ease the pain of my nerve damage (and enables me to paint). I'm thinking about an ankle bracelet for the lymphedema in my left leg also. Worth a try :)

  28. Hello sweetie! Thinking of you and happy to make it back to your page. Miss you and hope you're doing well. LOVE LOVE your little crows. Especially the one with the tiny punkin. :)

PS I did some research and was told that if you're using Internet Explorer it won't allow peeps to comment on square space (my current blog). You might want to try Firefox or Google Chrome. In the meantime, I'm considering moving back to blogger due to other issues. Until then.....oomwah!

  31. Im way behind in my blogging. I'm even thinking about stopping although I do love all the wonderful people I have met. Just got back from a pretty grueling vacation/trip to help my son drive back home over 1,000 miles before he gets transferred to Germany :-( Anyway hope your leg gets better soon! Love the new art.

  32. Ohhh The Caster is my favorite here. Very nice. Thank you for sending the prayers. The eye thing is so strange and a bit scary. Pray I can get into the MRI. Yes I was blessed by the Elder of my tribe to be a drum and pipe maker. If we lived closer I would teach you how.
    Say hello to your mom
