Hi Everyone ;o)
I want to thank you all for the well wishes with my knee/leg ;o) It looks like it might take a good 6 weeks for it to be healed up properly. I find sleeping is the worst time, and trying to bend it going up and downstairs. But, walking around, (not bending it much), is the best time because it keeps the circulation going. It will pass ;o) I am keeping positive ;o)

The next painting, is an 8" x 10" canvas. I had so much fun creating this one! I love the expression of the crows. The background has many layers of paint. I hope you enjoy it ;o)
It's called, "Latching Onto You". I love the song and was inspired by it ;o) After the pictures, I have included the lyrics to the song, (video), if you would like to see it ;o)

Hi Everyone ;o)
Hope you're all well ;o)
As you might already know, I am behind in blog land. It's because, I had to paint! LOL! It was calling to me and when I get to painting, everything gets shut down. I feel my paintings are again, growing and going in different directions. As I always say, I paint from my heart ;o) The words "Own Your Craft" keep coming to me ;o)

This summer has been very weird for me! I had an amazing Spring, but summer, I have had enough. I don't even feel like there has been a summer? I don't know how to explain it? In my mind, I am already in fall ;o)

I screwed up my left leg! It started bugging me roughly 2 weeks ago. Very painful! I turned it the wrong way. I had enough and went to my chiropractor today. He said it is very swollen and I have tendonitis. He told me to stop trying to do so much! So, I am basically doing nothing for 3 days and then I am back to go see him ;o) I hate not being in control of your body!!! But, I have nothing to complain about! I know many of you, are going through some pretty tough things!!!

A New Friend and A New Painting

Hi Everyone ;o)
Well, you all know how much I love my Gargoyles ;o) I have 6 now ;o) I should take a picture of them all together ;o) The only thing is, two are very large, I couldn't move them around! The day before July 1st, mom and I went to one of my favourite garden shop's ;o) Not that I was buying any plants, I went to look at the statues ;o) And, there he was, just staring at me ;o) I couldn't resist ;o) I had to bring him home ;o) There is another one actually, I might be going back for! LOL! I know, I'm bad ;o) Here is my new friend ;o) (click on pics to make them bigger)

I did manage to get a painting finished! Wow, it has been a long time!
This painting is called, "Princess Aiyana". Aiyana or Aiyanna, means Eternal Blossom. It is a Native American name ;o) Enjoy ;o) 8" x 8" canvas ;o)

Just incase I don't post again before the 4th of July, I want to wish all my American friends, a very happy day ;o)
