Vampire's Day Soiree

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone ;o)
On this loving day, we are celebrating it with Holly, and her Vampire's Day Soiree Blog Party ;o)

The first thing I thought, was to paint a loving vampire crow couple ;o) I began with this background. (click on the pics to make them bigger)

The more I looked at it, I didn't think it was right. I wanted something more bright, to celebrate their love for each other ;o)

I saw their bodies entangling, as they feasted on each other's blood.

Their souls are one.

The passion grows and so does their thirst.

A night of pure love ;o)

I hope everyone likes my Vampire's Day Soiree painting ;o) It's done on a 5" x 7" piece of wood ;o) Guess what? Because it is Valentine's Day, this painting is a giveaway ;o) If you don't want it, I won't be upset, but if you do, please tell me in your comment, you want it ;o) The last day to enter is Monday February 17th and I will announce the winner on Tuesday February 18th ;o)

Everyday, I am feeling better, that's a good thing ;o) Guess what? There's more snow coming at the end of the week! Well, I will be strong by then, to start shoveling again! LOL!

Hi Everyone ;o)
It's been awhile since my last post. Truth be told, I haven't been feeling well, since the last snow storm. Soar throat, running nose. You know, all the good stuff ;o) LOL! But, I have to admit, I could be worse! I'm still not 100%, but I am getting better ;o)
I have been painting ;o) Here are some sneak peaks for you ;o)

The next one is kind of blurry, but that's ok, because it's the painting in progress for the Wizard of Oz blog party ;o) You can see, the yellow brick road is on there now ;o) Next to that, you see my happy table ;o)

Snow and Mom's Jade Plant

This weekend we got more of this............

And this................

And, guess what? There is lots more coming on Wednesday. By the time summer comes, I am going to be so fit ;o) LOL!
Last year, Magaly showed her jade plant on her blog. I commented that you should see my mom's.
Mom has had her jade plant now for 25 plus years. It was given to her by a Japanese lady. It was a baby, no bigger than your longest finger. Now she has grown to about 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide.

Mom is the gardener inside! She talks to her plants all the time. When it comes time to transplanting her plants, she takes out her trusted knife and starts sawing! LOL!

Yep, that's what she does! Nothing special. She just starts cutting them apart and then she throws away, or gives some of the plant away, and then repots the main plant again. You have to do this, because the plant will get root bound. Either make the plant smaller, or get a bigger pot, so the roots have room to breath.
But now, this plant has got too big and too heavy. Mom or I can't chop her in half anymore!
This is some pictures of her branches.

We have been trying to give her away, but she is just too big. So once she breaks the pot, she will be gone. I am sure mom will take a baby and start her over. I wish I could plant her outside!

I have been painting, but I can't really show you anything. because it's for the blog parties. I will leave you with one sneak peak of my crow vampire painting ;o) It's a lot different from when I first started ;o)
