Happy New Year

Hi Everyone ;o)
2014 is almost here and I want to wish you all many blessings for the up coming year ;o)

Thank you for being you ;o) I so much enjoy all your comments and you inspire me with my art ;o)

As you can see, I have been playing with my blog ;o) It's fun to play, right ;o) I will share you the story about my new painting in my banner.
This painting is called "Moon Goddess Of Love". She was painted on an 8" x 8" canvas.

Many of you know, I listen to my dreams when it comes to my paintings. Now you might think this is weird, but sometimes, I will put a canvas on my dresser when I go to bed. Sometimes, the canvas is blank and other times, I am in an inbetween stage, or it's almost done. I feel my dreams will tell me what to do. Well, this is the first time, a painting was actually show to me in my dreams. It was all finished. I have never experienced that before. As soon as I woke, I had to paint her. Nothing could stop me!

Also, I have a spirit around me. I feel it's a she. I don't know who she is, but she smells so good! She has came to me twice. Once was outside my mom's bedroom and the other, was in the corner of my bedroom. All, I can smell is fresh berries. A mixture of raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries. I have talked to mom about her. We both don't know who she is and mom hasn't smelled anything, so I guess she is here for me. I have been noticing my crows getting more spiritual and Goddess like. Is this because of her? I don't know, but as I always say, do what your heart tells you to do ;o) Sometimes, your heart might get broken, but at least you tried ;o) You never fail, if you have tried ;o)

Now before I leave, I want to dance! Come on, you have to dance with me ;o) Let's wiggle our butts and bring in the New Year right ;o) Are you ready, to send out some good energy? Turn up your volume!

Snow, Happy Mail, Sneak Peak

Hi Everyone ;o) Well, on top of the ice, we have got, lots of snow! My butt is soar from shoveling! A very good work out ;o) LOL!

We are so happy we got our hydro back on! Some people are still without!
Through the power outage I got some happy mail ;o)
Kim surprised me with a beautiful earring and pendant set ;o) It came in a really cute Santa box ;o)

She also included a cute picture of her fur babies ;o) Because I am their favorite Auntie ;o) LOL! (I'm sorry the pictures are coming up in the wrong direction! Don't know how to fix this?) Big Hugs Kim! Thank you!

I also got another surprise from Betty ;o) A gorgeous print of her original art work and a beautiful card. In the picture to the right, you will see another drawing. Betty did this on the envelope. I had to save it ;o) Big Hugs Betty ;o) Thank you ;o)

Ice Storm

Hi Everyone ;o)
Sit back and let me tell you a story ;o)
On Friday, December 20th, my brother and sister-in-law were suppose to come in, but decided to leave it till Saturday, because Friday, was the start of the ice storm in our area.
Saturday came and there was a pause in the storm. Everyone arrived safely and so did our friends. We had our Big Christmas meal on Saturday. Everyone's tummies were full. Our friends left for home, (my brother and sister-in-law were staying till Monday). Well on Saturday roughly at 5:00pm, the ice started to fall, with a mixture of snow, and it didn't stop!

Sunday morning we woke and the lights were flickering! We new the power was going to go! My sister-in-law and I rushed to make the coffee and breakfast. By 10:00am, power was gone!

We spent the day with candles, our gas fireplace, and playing cards. We even went outside and played "on top" of the ice covered snow! Some people in our area were ice skating on the roads!
When it came to food, lucky we had lots of left overs! Some of us made cold sandwiches and then we thought we would like to heat up some of the potatoes, vegetables and gravy. Well, I came up with an idea ;o) I got a bowl, lit some tea lights and put two knives across. (I added two more candles)

Got a pie plate and put the food in it.

Put some reynolds wrap on top, to keep the heat in.

Have a drink ;o) LOL!

And, roughly 45 minutes later, nice hot food! Seriously! My brother burnt his mouth, because he didn't realize how hot it was!

We even made tea and fried eggs!!!!

So if you are ever without power try this ;o) It truly works!
Several trees are down in our area! We just got power on Monday night at 10:00pm! We have heard there are still people without power! They might be out for another week! We were so lucky! The only thing now, we are in a deep freeze! So with the heavy ice on the trees, more could break! Hopefully not and hopefully no more power outages!
I hope all my friends out there are safe and warm ;o)

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas

Hi Everyone ;o) We have been getting tones of snow ;o) It's so pretty! The one good thing, it's nice fluffy snow, but it's still adding up, so you have to shovel at least twice a day.

Mom's Christmas Cactus is in full bloom ;o) She is so beautiful ;o)

The Christmas villages have been put up ;o)

Look out below! Giant Lizard attack! LOL!

I got that hand carved lizard at the rockhound gemboree this year for mom. She really liked it ;o) I think he looks very cute in her Christmas display ;o)
Flowers and Christmas decorations have been displayed throughout our kitchen window ;o)

You may have noticed, we don't have a tree. Mom got rid of it around three years ago. She just felt it was getting to be too much. So we hang our decorations throughout the house and I have my lights in my painting area ;o) I would love to get another tree, but I understand ;o)
My brother and sister-in-law are coming the 20th to the 22nd. Just to let you know, if I am late coming around to your blogs!
Oh, I forgot, this is a painting I have been working on ;o) A little sneak peak ;o)

Crows and Wolves, Happy Mail, Me In Alaska

Hi Everyone ;o) My friend Pam shared with me something she found on Pinterest. 

"Intelligent animals both, crows and wolves have been known to play together in the wild and it has been observed, that crows will sometimes alert wolves to potential prey, in order that they might share in the food it would provide."
I thought this was so cool! And even more cool, wolves have been coming to me, since September! In my dreams and thoughts. When Pam showed me this, I took it as a sign! Not sure what kind of sign? Maybe I will start howling! LOL!

New Crow Art

Hi Everyone ;o) I want to thank you all for your comments on my last post! You're all so precious to me!
I have some new art to show ;o) The first painting, I took some during photos. I know many of you like to see the different stages. I find it hard to take pictures, because when I paint, it's hard to stop! LOL!

Don't Stop Believing In You

You have to forgive me first off. My writing might be all over the place for this post. I am so much better painting, how I feel.

As you all know, this month, is the month where I get emotional. I start to think about the hospital and how fortunate I am. Christmas has always been emotional for me. I hear Christmas music and I start to cry! And, it's not tears of sadness, I feel the magic. I truly do ;o) But, now, I tend to cry more, because I think of the past, but I smile too, because I am here ;o)
Me in the hospital (don't look to close, I wasn't able to pluck my chin hairs for two weeks, or wash my hair! LOL!)

People these days are crazy and they are getting worse every year! The malls are packed. Nobody smiles. It's give me more and more. And, I am going to yell here, excuse me, PUT DOWN YOUR CELL PHONES! THEY ARE NOT NEEDED, EVERYWHERE YOU GO! I just heard today, that the train crash in Spain, was caused by the driver texting!!! EXCUSE ME???? 79 PEOPLE DIED! I don't even own a cell phone. I don't even know what an i-phone looks like! Wake up people!

Think about your family, friends, a stranger. It's not only about you! Open a door for someone, when you walk through it. I have to admit, when someone opens the door for me, I smile big time ;o) Makes me feel so good inside. Or when an older gentleman tells me I'm cute, I really smile ;o) That's what life is about ;o) Making other people feel good ;o) And, that doesn't mean you have to buy them something! Smile, be good to your neighbor ;o) I feel our society is changing for the worse! You know, I am not going to be like these people! No one will change me! I will keep smiling and keep believing! ;o) No one is going to take my spirit from me!

I know so many of you have went through so much this year and are still going through so many things! Makes my heart break, when I think of these things! I don't know what to say? But, I do know one thing, you can't stop believing! Believing in yourself!!!! You can't let your magic, your spirit die! Even when things get to the lowest, find your spark! Please!

Shit happens, I know it does! Everything from illness, death, losing a job, someone scamming a person, a loved one walking into your life one day and walking out the next. I don't know why this happens. But, you have to become stronger and a better person because of it and live each day to the fullest!

Me out of the hospital, with my favorite hat on. My mom made it for me and I wear it every winter ;o) A special gift, when I came home.

Smile, dance, have some wild love making with your mate ;o) Live ;o) Give your fur babies a hug ;o) Cherish nature ;o) Cherish life ;o) Cherish your family and friends ;o) And, when your soul shines, other souls around you will shine too!
Maybe those crazy people will be blinded by how bright our souls are shining and they might change? We can only hope ;o)
For all of those who have suffered over this past year in blog land and are still going through things, keep your fire burning bright and remember, we are here for you!!! I do believe in positive healing energy!
