Going Away and A Sneak Peak

Hi Everyone ;o)
I just wanted to let you all know, that I will be going away bright and early Wednesday morning ;o) I'm going to the 49th Annual Rockhound Gemboree ;o) Yepee! So excited! You know how much I love my stones and crystals ;o) My computer will be left at home! I will be going out into the wilderness ;o) I will be back late friday night ;o)

Special Order Done and Gracie My Gargoyle

Hi Everyone ;o) I finished Kim's special order and I had to share it! I love it and so does Kim ;o) Yeh!

And, Gracie (one of my inside Gargoyles) wanted me to give her some color, so of  course I did ;o) She wanted me to show you what she looks like now ;o) She also wanted me to tell everyone, she isn't as grey as she looks in the picture. She is right! She is actually a little more tanny brown grey ;o)

I think she looks very cute ;o) I know she is happy. She wants her nails done next, but I don't know, what do all of you think?

This is what it looks like now. I even had to put another round stepping stone beside the big one, because the squirrels even took more! These squirrels are lucky I love animals!! ;o)

This year, I am on Team Green ;o) It was interesting when I was looking at photos of the Wicked Witch Of The West. She used the same pose a lot!

I painted the Wicked Witch Of The West my way, and gave her a different twist ;o)

Now, there is one picture that always sticks in my head and that is of  Miss Gulch on her bike ;o)

The last picture I painted was of one of the flying monkeys! I always loved their outfits! So cool!

Squirrels, A Guest and Some New Art

Hi Everyone ;o)
I hope you're having a great day! Guess what I have been doing? My mom has been laughing her head off! The black squirrels now are taking my white rocks to the neighbors???? They have bared two patches in our backyard! Do they know these rocks cost money? It's enough to hide them in our grass, but to take them out of our yard! I am upset! I have been running after them to drop them! But, the little buggers make it over the fence! I know all of you are laughing at me too! I can hear you! LOL! I am not buying any more white rocks! And, I have told these squirrels, (well, I actually yelled at them), to bring my stones back!!!
And when I was running around, a friend dropped out of the tree and surprised me! He said hi and told me to hang in, everything will be fine ;o) I smiled and thanked him ;o) I didn't get his name? I hope he visits again ;o)

A Special Gift On Friday 13th

Hi Everyone ;o)
I hope you're all having a great day! I received a very special gift in the mail today! From the lovely Gina, who is also funny and an amazing artist! Gina can create anything and she seems to do it so quickly! I want to know her secret!

Last month, she created an amazing "dark journal", where she wrote a tale and drew every picture! At the end, a crow appeared to her in the last drawing! I fell in love with this journal and commented to Gina, could she ever part with it?

Well, guess what I got in the mail today? I am still smiling, crying and dancing! I have taken some pictures of the journal for you to see., Enjoy ;o) It is breath taking! Click on the pictures for a bigger view ;o)

Gina, also made me a little doodle! I love it! If it's suppose to be me, she got the boobs and hips right, I just have to work on the waist! LOL!

Hot, Squirrels and Stones, Veils, Oz

Hi Everyone ;o) This post is going to be a lot of little things, so sit back and grab yourself a drink and stay cool! I really mean that! I think everyone in this world is dealing with the heat right now! Not good! You can't breathe outside! I just wish it would rain! We haven't had rain in two weeks! It was suppose to rain last night, nothing! The ground is like sand!

Speaking of the heat, our squirrels have went nuts! Really, they have! I was wondering if any of you are experiencing the same thing. Mom and I have been finding our rocks in the grass? We have rocks in some areas of our gardens. These aren't pebbles, these are good sized rocks! (see picture below) Every morning we get up, more rocks, everywhere. Well,  last night, around 6:00 pm, we see one of our black  squirrels with one. He was sucking on it? When I knocked on the window, he ran with it! Are they getting some kind of vitamin from them? Iron? Is it because of the heat and they need this? We have never seen this before?

I don't know why, but I have been in the mood to paint veils. And, I have tones of designs on my mind, so you will be seeing lots! Enjoy ;o)
