Hi Everyone ;o) We are in the middle of a heat wave! The next 3 days are going to be bad!!!! We will be averaging 40-50 degrees Celsius, which is like 104-122 degrees Fahrenheit! This will be with lots of humidity too! I will be gardening at 3:00am ;o) If any of you are in this heat wave, stay cool and drink lots of water!
I wanted to share with you a very special bush to me. I am sorry, I don't know the name of it, so if any of you know, please tell me ;o) This bush I bought and planted, the day before I went into the hospital, the first time. I will never forget, because it was the day before our Canadian Thanksgiving, in October. I woke up in the morning and said to my mom, I want to buy something new for the front of the house. It was a great time to go, because everything would be discounted. So off we went to the garden center and I picked this bush. The guy told me, it was very hardy and the trick of it was to trim it as much as possible. The more you trim it, the more happier it will be ;o) I bought it. I think it was like $5.00.
Came home, dug the hole and planted her ;o) My mom was so upset with me the next day! She didn't realize how much pain I was really in! I shouldn't have been driving the day before, or digging holes! Oh well, what can I say, I am stubborn ;o)
I would like to show you my bush. This picture was taken in April. Every year I cut her down to basically nothing.
This picture was taken in May.
This is when she will start blooming really pretty little white flowers. They don't smell, but are gorgeous. The birds and bees love this bush. Here are some pictures of the flowers close up ;o)
These pictures were taken in June. I took two different angles to show the colors. She is a mixture of wines, deep greens and honey browns.
At this time, the flowers close and become a beautiful red color.
I hope you enjoyed seeing pictures of my bush ;o) Next I would like to show you a picture of the baby robins. I didn't want to get too close. The one set of Robins, nest in our tree in the front of our house every year. I call this tree, "Lina and Falco" because that was the name of our cat and dog. This tree was brought from our old house and it was planted in honor of our cat and dog that passed away. They were actually buried under it. This tree meant too much to us to leave it at our old house! This is a picture taken from my bedroom window. One side the red bush and the other side, Lina and Falco tree ;o)
And, here are the baby robins. Make sure to click on the picture to see a closer view ;o) One is looking at me and the other has his mouth open! He is hungry ;o)
Big Hugs Everyone ;o) Stay cool ;o)

Rescued Baby Crow ;o)
Hi Everyone ;o) Hope you're all well ;o) I want to send BIG HUGS and LOTS OF LOVE out to all of you! All your well wishes for my leg, made me cry ;o) Sniff, sniff! ;o) You all mean so much to me! I am happy to say, my leg isn't 100%, but almost! The pain is gone and there is no more swelling! I am just taking it easy moving around, to make sure everything is healed ;o) I am positive it was a muscle that I pulled. But, instead of stopping, I kept going. Next time, I will stop ;o)
I had a very good sign today ;o) You know, in all my life, I have never seen a baby crow? Well, I was painting and looking outside the window. I saw something fluttering in the water. I yelled out to my mom and brother, because I knew they could get outside quicker than me. My brother scooped up the little guy with the net and put him in the sun to dry off. It was a baby crow ;o) I quickly went and got my camera! The poor little guy/girl was cawing for his parents. I got some really nice photos. I hope you all enjoy them! In a couple of hours, he was gone! I felt really blessed ;o) Enjoy ;o) Make sure to click on the pictures, to make them bigger ;o)

My Left Leg, Dragons, Oz
Hi Everyone ;o) You know me, I really don't complain, but I have to let you all know something. Around 3 days ago, I did something to my left leg. I am pretty sure it was when I was gardening! Going up and down ladders, cutting big evergreen branches off, things like that ;o). Last night was the worst! I had around an hour sleep! You know it's bad, when you can hardly lift your foot to your pants on! I have been massaging my leg. Putting my legs up against the wall, so they are above my heart, to keep the circulation going and I have also been putting cold and hot packs on the area. I have to admit, from today, really resting, the pain has went down. I really have to watch my left leg, because when I was ill, one of the complications was, a blood clot formed in my left leg. I had to take warfarin and get large needles in my stomach everyday. I don't remember what they were putting in me, but the smell was like bleach, so strong! I got bruises from every needle too, so they would always have to go to another spot. My stomach was not very pretty looking! Anyways, I was told, to always watch my left leg, because this had happened. So, I am being extra careful! Because of all this going on, I am behind in e-mails and in blogs! I hope to catch up with you all in the next few days ;o)
As I said, last night, I didn't sleep, so guess what, I painted! LOL! Dragons were calling to me once again ;o) Let me introduce to you, "The Babysitter" ;o)
"Merlin" ;o)
Now, you see that button on my right hand side of my blog, that says, "Return To Celebrate Oz", with the amazing Oma Linda ;o) Well, I started to paint for that too ;o) Now, I can't show you the entire painting, because I want it to be a surprise, but I did show you the yellow brick road ;o) I hope you all can join in this fun party!!! Oma Linda said she is bringing the tequila ;o) LOL!
Big Hugs Everyone! I will be talking to you all soon ;o) Have a great weekend ;o)

Hugs Becca, Snow Ball Tree, Robin's nest
Hi Everyone ;o)
Hope you're all having a great day! We are getting tones of rain, which I don't mind, because we haven't had rain in two weeks.
I got something special in the mail today ;o) I was involved in Becca's pay it forward. Becca creates amazing items out of paper mache. Her favorite holiday is Halloween, so you always find great spooky items in her Etsy shop ;o)
Becca sent me The Haunted Acorn Twins ;o) I love them! She was worried that they might keep me up at night ;o) LOL! Thanks so much Becca ;o) Hugs ;o)
Next, I would like to show off my mom's snow ball tree ;o) I call it her pomp pomp tree ;o) She actually has had it for around 5 years. Well, two years ago, I told my mom, she's not happy and I transplanted her. I do that a lot! I move trees around. I did that to our dog wood tree three times, now she is happy ;o) I don't like throwing things out ;o)
This year, finally, mom's snow ball tree is blooming ;o)
In our front yard, there are robins nesting ;o) I tried to get as close as I could ;o) Hope you can see the robin and her nest ;o) Make sure to click on the picture to make it bigger ;o)
