13 Goddesses Week 13- Chinese: Long Mu and One More

Hi Everyone ;o) Can you believe it's the last week of the 13 Goddesses Challenge ;o( I am so sad! I want to thank the lovely Simona for hosting such a great challenge! I had a lot of fun! I actually accomplished 17 Goddesses in this Challenge ;o) I couldn't help myself! I really enjoyed creating them with my crows ;o)

I would like to introduce to you, Chinese Goddess Long Mu ;o)

In Chinese Mythology, Long Mu, or Mother Of Dragons, was a Chinese woman who was deified as a Goddess after raising five infant dragons. Long Mu and her dragons developed a strong bond for each other and have thus become and example of parental love and an example of respect for one's ancestors and parents.

I had to do one more Goddess ;o) I love cats and I love crows, so she was calling to me ;o)

"Egyptian Goddess Bastet"

The Goddess of cats, Lower Egypt, the sun and the moon ;o)

Big Hugs everyone and thank you for following me in this creative journey ;o)

  1. Love the idea behind Long Mu, she's a pretty one, too. I like the way you blended a cat and a crow for Bastet, I see a gold stud in her ear, how fine. Great job on all of the challenge paintings, your interpretations were fabulous. Congrats!

  15. Nice!! I love Dragons and Cats. I noticed the earring on Bastet and the Cat rings. She's fully accesorized.

And Long Mu is such a good mom. See how well behaved the baby Dragons are? I think the one she's holding looks so gentle.
