New Art ;o)

Hi Everyone ;o) I hope you are all well! And, I hope if any of you were in Irene's path, that you are ok ;o) It has been a busy last week and a few days! My mom had her toe operated on last week. She broke it awhile ago and it never healed properly. So, they had to break it again, take some of the bone out, give it a scraping and stitch her back up. She is in a foot cast. I have been doing a lot of extra things around the house, while icing her little toe ;o) Also, a very close friend of the family, had an emergency operation on her stomach this week. She is 88 years old. Such a sweet heart. We haven't heard back from her daughter yet. Hoping and praying everything is well! And, my brother and sister-in-law were over for a few days. But, I still had a chance to do some painting ;o) Even if it was at 1:00 in the morning ;o) I will try to catch up on all your blogs soon ;o)

"Flower Maiden"

"Anyone For Pancakes?"

"Spooky"

Have a great day everyone! A quote for you all. Not sure who wrote it?
"When you are suffering, you may feel as if it will last forever. But, rest assured, it will not. Winter always turns to spring. No winter lasts forever."

For Everyone With Etsy Shops and Russian Sage

Hi Everyone ;o) I know I e-mailed a lot of you yesterday, but then I thought, I would just make a post on here and then you can pass it on ;o) I received an e-mail from Etsy yesterday. They changed their format on how people search. Meaning you have to put the most important word in your title first! I just changed my entire store. You can go look at my titles. Like if you are selling an aceo, put aceo first, if it's a print, put print first, earrings, earrings first. Then put the description, I would put baby crow and after that, if you wanted to put the name of it ( like the name I would have for my aceo), put that in. The name would be the least important, so that would be last. Look at my store and if you have any questions, just ask ;o)

Now for my Russian Sage! Do you remember my Russian Sage? It's hard to take pictures of the flowers, when they are in bloom, because the flowers are so tiny! After the flowers get fluffy and actually drop, you can sweep them up for potpourri. I cut them at this stage and hang them in my fence to dry. When they are dry, they turn into a grey peachy tone. Have fun looking at the pictures ;o) I've taken pictures of all the different stages. Oh, there is a bee in one picture, I hope you can see him ;o) Oh, the last picture, should be before the last picture! LOL! It's the stage before the flowers are actually dry ;o)

I'm Back ;o) Thanks Donna and Thanks Shelle ;o)

Hi Everyone ;o) Well, mom and I had a fantastic time away! I think we are going back in September! We scored at the Heinz factory shop! Mustard, relish, ketchup, chicken noodle soup, beans, chili sauce, hot sauce, vinegar, HP sauce, apple juice and did you know they make dog bones???? Well, they do. They were selling these huge boxes, I think there was like 500 plus milk bones in them. We bought a box for our friends, they have two dogs ;o) Oh, and we also scored with the vegetables and fruit! Watermelon, melons, grapes, beans, tomatoes, onions, peaches and I can't remember everything else! LOL! But, I can tell you, the car was very full!!!

I would like to share with you, two very special things that I received in the mail ;o) The first was from Donna ;o) Donna's Etsy shop is full of wonderful handmade spiritual items. It was a big surprise, when I received this beautiful St. Francis tag. Donna made it just for me, a gift from the heart. St. Francis is the Saint for nature and the environment. He loved all animals ;o) I really loved the way Donna finished the back of my tag too ;o) Enjoy everyone ;o) Hugs Donna ;o)

Do you all remember the Mad Tea Party? Well, I won the prize from Shelle ;o) I got to pick whatever I wanted out of her shop! There was a nude Shelle did on a piece of drift wood and I had been eyeing that piece for awhile, so that's what I picked! It is amazing!!! Enjoy everyone ;o) Hugs Shelle ;o)

Big Hugs ;o)

Thanks Chris and New Art ;o)

Hi Everyone ;o) Is everyone having a special day??? I hope so ;o) I first would like to share with you, the aceo I won from winning "The People's Choice" award, on The Aceo Challenge Blog ;o) I got to pick an aceo from Chris's Esty Store. Chris runs the blog and does a great job! She also is an amazing artist! I picked "Spring Bouquet". I love it! I love the colours and the entire design of it. I actually thought it looked kind of spooky, because of the red paint throughout it. It looked like blood! I know, I am crazy! I have Halloween on the brain ;o) I actually told Chris to make some more for Halloween. I think having a bouquet of black roses with the red paint around it, would look fantastic!! Thanks so much Chris ;o) I hope I see more ;o)

Now, do you remember Casanova???? Well, I would like to introduce his girlfriend "Wink" ;o)))

And, do you also remember, "The Little Fairy" on wood. Well, she just didn't speak to me, so I had to redo her ;o) Hope you like her ;o) She speaks to me now ;o)

Now, for my last painting on wood. I didn't do a baby crow. I wanted something, I guess you could call, serious? This painting is called, "Thank You". Do you see the little heart on the crow? I carved that out with my nail, when the paint was wet. It was hard to do! I don't have nails! LOL! I hope you like it! I think it's pretty ;o)

Incase you were all wondering, yes it was raining again! LOL! But, it's sunny now ;o) Have a great day ;o)

My New Gargoyle and My New Wands

First I would like to say, thanks for all your wonderful comments on the last post! I am considering doing some fairy shoes, maybe a Halloween theme. The cards and gift tags, I am thinking about. And, the children's story book, using my baby crows, great idea ;o)

I would like to show off a couple of the beautiful treasures I have purchased from some fantastic people I have met through Etsy and through my blog. I am going to try to do this once a week ;o) The first item is my gargoyle, from Kate at White Moon Witchcraft ;o) I love this little guy or girl? I don't know it's name yet? It won't tell me! ;o) Kate makes these personally for the individual. Each one is unique. Mine is holding rose quartz stones. It has moon stone eyes and has carnelian in all the other places. I love the little smile and the chain around the neck ;o) It's so special to me! I have been blessed with many things from Kate and I truly love them all! There is an amazing energy that comes off all the items. I know they are all made with love and care and a little magic ;o) Hugs Kate ;o)

Now did you see the picture, of my gargoyle, with those two beautiful wands around him? Well, those beautiful handmade cedar wands are by Mina's hubby ;o) Mina doesn't have an etsy store. She is selling these off her blog, left hand side. There is 3 different syles. I can't explain what I felt, when I held them in my hand the very first time! There was and still is, such an energy, that tingles through me! And, it was pure magic on how they got to me too! I even took pictures and sent them to Mina. My address and her return address, were basically rubbed off the package. I couldn't read our addresses? They were meant to be mine! Unless, Mina, held on to the package too tight, when she flew them over to my house on her broom? Hmmmmmmm..I never thought of that ;o)))) Hugs Mina, I truly love them ;o)

Stay tuned for more stunning items ;o) Have a great weekend ;o) It's raining here! We need it!!!

The Treasures I Found ;o) Part Two ;o) And My Fairy Blessings Painting ;o)

Hi Everyone ;o) First I would like to say, I was so touched by all your comments about my stones! It is so cool, that all of you love stones too and so many of you, collect them as well ;o) Thanks so much, big hugs ;o)

Magaly, the stone you liked is called, "Rainbow Obsidian". The one I purchased is from Mexico, but it can also be found in Italy, Scotland and the United States.
Rainbow Obsidian promotes light and love and the recognition of ones spiritual nature. It is also used for gazing. Rainbow Obsidian is also called the "stone of pleasure" because energetically it is thought to bring pleasure, joy and enjoyment to one's life. It also brings clarity and clear thinking to one and therefore can bring out the Spiritual. Rainbow Obsidian is used psychically to enhance clairvoyance and is especially effective in protection as it is thought to ground negativity and allow the Light in. Rainbow Obsidian is primarily associated with the root chakra.

Donna and Nicola, the stone you liked, is called, "Turquoise Blue Labradorite". The one I purchased is from Canada.
Labradorite is a wonderful and powerful stone. It is a high-energy protection stone as well as a stone of mystical traits. Just hold labradorite and feel the energy that flows in the stone. It forms a strong wall to negative energies. Labradorite can help you find your spiritual purpose. It also can help you understand and release fears from past lives. This is truly a stone of transformation.

Ann, the stone you liked, is called, "Chrysoprase". The one I purchased is from Australia.
Chrysoprase is a stone to use when creativity is needed. Chrysoprase stimulates fidelity in personal relationships and business. It is a very positive stone, as it looks for the best in all situations. Chrysoprase works with the higher conscious and brings the unconscious to the conscious mind. Chrysoprase is apple green to lemon yellow with streaks of brown.

Shelle, I just want to say, thanks so much for sharing the story about your daughter! I thought it was very powerful! Debbie, I would love to see your stone collection! Marlene, are you still breaking stones? ;o)

Now, the last stone I would like to share with you all, in this post, is called, "Enhydro Agate". Enhydro means, water within. The stall that I went to, had a small box of these, on a bottom shelf, that no one was looking at, but me ;o) I bent down and was so taken by this stone! It is a rare mineral, that is millions of years old and has water captured in it. This water will not disappear. If you put it beside your ear, and wiggle it, you will hear the water splash around. Mine is a mauve color. I tried to get a picture of the water, but sorry, I couldn't. I feel so special to have this stone. No one else in the show had them!
Agate is a wonderful and powerful mineral with so many properties that are healing and transforming. This mineral stabilises the aura as well as cleanisng it of negativity.

Generally, enhances love, abundance, courage, protective and helps to balance mind, body and spirit.

Associated with the "Earth Mother", agates also help to overcome the bitterness of the heart and inner anger so as we become more loving then we attract more love.

Brazilian agate especially facilitates strength and during meditative states and astral projection is protective.

Used by South American Shamen as a pathway to the "other worlds".

Enhydros ... bring the water element, water being associated with feelings and emotions ... fluidity and adaptability !

This stone will empathise and help the person holding it to understand anothers feelings. Said also to contain life-sustaining energy and helps with adapting to what might otherwise be stressful situations ... as well as with "change".

Now, I don't know if you all remember, a painting I was doing on wood? Well, I finished it, and it's called, "Fairy Blessings" ;o) Enjoy! And, I won the "People's Choice Award" on the aceo blog challenge! Thanks everyone for voting! Blessings ;o) Have a fantastic day ;o)
