Baby Robin ;o)

Hey Everyone ;o)
Yesterday, I am writing an e-mail and I hear my mom yelling, Stacy, come quick! I jump up. A baby robin was at the bottom of our cement stairs to the basement. I guess he hopped down and couldn't get up?
So, I ran and got a pair of shorts. I don't know why I didn't get a blanket? LOL! I went down the stairs, being very careful, not to touch it with my hands. I didn't want my scent on it. As soon as I started gently putting the material around it, it started chirping. I was thinking, I hope I don't get attacked by mom and dad! LOL ;o)
As soon as I got it, I put it under the lilac tree. And, of course, I ran inside to take some pictures, to show all of you ;o) I love his or her's hair!!! I think it's so adorable!! And, the photo's I have of him looking at me, I can just imagine, what he is thinking! LOL! Enjoy everyone and have a great day ;o) Please click on the pictures to enlarge them ;o)

  6. Very cute! Robins are notorious for building nests in not so safe places. Last year one build a nest in my hanging basket. The babies kept falling out but eventually they flew away! :-)
