Bugleweed, Clover, Grass and a Gargoyle

Hi Everyone ;o) I hope you are all having a really nice day! My mom and I had a fun time away and she wanted to thank you for the Happy Birthday wishes ;o)

Do you remember a few days ago, when I was talking about how I mix bugleweed, and clover into my grass? Well, I took some pics for you ;o) As I said before, there are many types of bugleweed, I have two different ones in my lawn. And, I am telling you, the clover and bugleweed are the best! I am so happy I did this! The bugleweed just keeps growing and the clover seeds itself! It's all very thick and you just run the lawn more right over top ;o) And, you don't have to water, like a normal lawn! The best is walking on it. I love feeling on my feet! LOL!

Now, I asked Mr. Gargoyle if I could take a better picture of him, to show you. Because I know he loves to hide behind the grass, where no one can see him. He said it was fine. So here is a better pic of my sexy Mr. Gargoyle ;o)

I would like to also say, an early Happy Canada Day and also an early Happy 4th of July, to my American friends ;o) Take care everyone and have a great long weekend ;o)

I finished some new aceo's ;o) The first two were for a special order ;o) Debbie from Crafty Moose, wanted a purple crow and a baby crow pow wow. I did the pow wow in the colors of purple, since it's Debbie's favorite color ;o) I thought the purple crow looked tropical to me ;o) Enjoy ;o) Now, if only the strike would end, I could send them out!

The last aceo I did in honor of "The Mad Tea Party" this Saturday! I will be having a giveaway. It's going to be a fun day! Check out the link on the side of my blog ;o) Take care everyone ;o) Have a fantastic day ;o)

Happy Summer Solstice ;o)

Hi Everyone ;o) I was trimming my evergreen tree today. I stuck my head into one area, to check the branches. A mother dove flew right into my head. we were both startled. I stood there for a minute, as I watched her fly away. Then, I glanced back into the tree. I saw the most perfect nest. In that nest was one egg and a little new born dove! I couldn't believe my eyes! I have been blessed with so many baby birds this year. I feel so fortunate! All this beautiful life around me ;o) Such a good sign ;o) I ran to get my camera! I didn't want to take too many pictures, because I wanted mom dove to come back soon! So, I got one good one ;o) I am happy to say, as soon as I took the picture, mom dove was back, protecting her children ;o) I know the baby is fuzzy, but I think you will all get a good idea at what I was looking at. Please click on it, to enlarge the picture ;o) Enjoy ;o)

Laugh, enjoy the beauty of nature. Feel the sun and wish upon a star ;o) Magical Blessings To You All ;o)

Baby Robin ;o)

Hey Everyone ;o)
Yesterday, I am writing an e-mail and I hear my mom yelling, Stacy, come quick! I jump up. A baby robin was at the bottom of our cement stairs to the basement. I guess he hopped down and couldn't get up?
So, I ran and got a pair of shorts. I don't know why I didn't get a blanket? LOL! I went down the stairs, being very careful, not to touch it with my hands. I didn't want my scent on it. As soon as I started gently putting the material around it, it started chirping. I was thinking, I hope I don't get attacked by mom and dad! LOL ;o)
As soon as I got it, I put it under the lilac tree. And, of course, I ran inside to take some pictures, to show all of you ;o) I love his or her's hair!!! I think it's so adorable!! And, the photo's I have of him looking at me, I can just imagine, what he is thinking! LOL! Enjoy everyone and have a great day ;o) Please click on the pictures to enlarge them ;o)

Plants, Gargoyle and Me

Hi Everyone ;o) I'm back! LOL ;o) I can put pictures up using Interent Explorer and not Google Chrome? I don't understand?
And, the postal strike is on now! Canada post locked out the employees!

Ok, let's get on to some fun things ;o) My first picture is of my fushia hanging plants. Great for hummingbirds ;o)

The next picture you see, is little purple flowers coming up from the ground. They grow from those red and green leaves and I've seen the stem grow 6" to 8". These plants are called bugleweeds. There are many different types. Very hardy plant and they spread! Also, they bring in the hummingbirds too ;o) And butterflies like them as well ;o) Just to let everyone know, I plant bugleweeds, and clover throughout my lawn ;o) I will take a picture of that sometime. It's fantastic and you can run the lawnmower right over them. It will cut the flowers off, but as I said, bugleweeds spread and so does clover. No more seeding! They take care of themselves and the lawn looks so pretty, purple and green ;o) My neighbours think I'm nuts, but that's ok ;o)

The next picture is of my Gargoyle! I love him. He is my protector of my garden. As he looks through the tall wild grass ;o) Doesn't he have a cute smile ;o)

Oh, the last picture is of me and my green hemp gardening hat! ;o) I love my hat!! LOL ;o) Keep on smiling everyone ;o)

Anyone Having Problems?

Hi Everyone ;o)

I was all set to show you some pictures and I can't load any on blogger? Is anyone having his problem? And, I am using Google Chrome.

Take Care ;o)

Going Away, Ferns and Russian Sage

Hey Everyone ;o) I hope you are all having a great weekend! I'm going away, but will be back tomorrow! I promise to catch up with you all, when I get back ;o)

I would like to share some pictures of my plants ;o) The first one is my ferns. I love my ferns! As you can see, I have a lot of them! LOL! Underneath them are bugle weeds, hostas and Russian sage ;o) Can't see any of them yet! LOL! Well, maybe if you look closely, you can ;o)

My next picture is one of my Russian sage. I have 4 of these plants. They are my favorite! Soon they will start to blossom with little purple flowers. I will take a picture of that, when it happens. The smell from them is very strong! Flowery, but spicey! I like to mix my Russian sage with my lavender, and bring them inside. Or sometimes I burn my Russian sage, for a smudging or incense. If any of you want a hardy plant, that gets as big as you want it, this is the plant for you! I have seen people have hedges out of them! They don't need good soil and no watering! You have to water them once you plant them, but after, nope! And the smell, brings in the bees, butterflies, and dragonflies! I promise to take a picture, when the purple flowers come out ;o)

Blessings everyone ;o) Talk to you when I get back ;o)

Thanks Shelle

Hi Everyone ;o) The postal strike is still on! They are still doing rotating strikes through the different provinces, but now are only working in the post office three days a week and only delivering for three days. They said if they don't come to a solution soon, there might be a full strike! Not Good! But, I am happy to say, I got my "Witches In Fiction" giveaway gift today, from Australia!! Yeh! I'm still doing a happy dance, even while I am posting this! LOL! Look at this beautiful painting Shelle made ;o) It's a witch and her imaginary friend ;o) It even has little crystals on it! Enjoy the pictures everyone and have a wonderful day! ;o)

Isn't the imaginary friend so cute??? And, the little witch has red nail polish on!! Thanks Shelle ;o)

Hey Everyone ;o) First I want to tell you, I opened my shop again! I still won't be sending things out at this time, but at least my store will be visible. When you put your shop on vacation mode, it will not be seen anywhere on Etsy, and that's not good! I have made a section in my store called, "99 cents pif special", (pay it forward). I know I can't send anything out at this time, so I thought I would put some of my art on at a great price, for a little treat ;o)

And, I would like to share my latest aceo called, " Baby Genie Crow", Enjoy ;o) Keep On Smiling everyone ;o)

Postal Strike and Baby Dove ;o)

Hey Everyone! Well the postal strike in Canada, is happening! The workers are on rotating strikes through every province, so mail will be disrupted. My shop will be on vacation mode, till further notice! Whoever wins my giveaway next week, I will keep the aceo, until I can mail it out ;o)

Now, I would like to share something really cute! Yesterday morning, I went to open the window in the kitchen. I noticed two doves walking around on the ledge. I said good morning to them and walked away. My mom looked out the window and yelled at me. I didn't realize, the reason they were there, was because they had a baby, they were taking care of ;o) We watched them all day. Around 8:00pm at night, the parents and baby were gone! Enjoy the pictures ;o) Click on them and you can see them larger ;o) Have a wonderful day everyone ;o)
