Happy May Day (Flower Pictures) ;o)

Happy May Day ;o) Blessings Everyone. I wish you all much happiness and good health. Below are some pictures I just took of one of my mom's favourite plants. She has had it now for over 20 years. When the flowers open, it drips a sticky syrup. Mom doesn't know what kind of plant it is? LOL! If anyone does know, please let me know ;o) I thought these pictures were beautiful to share on such a special day ;o) Enjoy ;o)

  6. Hi Robin ;o) My mom has a Christmas Cactus. It's actually right beside this plant, in the picture. Maybe it's related in someway? But, the shape is totally different. Thanks so much for the complement on my paintings ;o) Take Care My Friend ;o)

I really would have loved to throw my name in your draw, but I knew I was too busy to fully participate in this blog hop. It was only fair that I avoid commenting for that reason :-)
things still haven't let up, I hope to get caught up on my fave blogs shortly.

I love your mom's plant!! How do you keep something alive for 20 years? is it like a spider plant where you can grow the little offshoots? A house is not a home without many plants :-)

  18. Congrats to your lucky winner! I really enjoyed reading your story.

The plant is gorgeous! I think it must be a succulent--or at least related.

  19. Hey Betty ;o) You could have commented ;o) I wouldn't have minded ;o) And, the plant is like a spider plant. My mom had one little leaf and put it in water. All her plants in the one picture are 20 years plus!!! Take Care ;o)

Gorgeous plant, Stacy :D Looks like a relative of a christmas cactus. They love cool nights - that usually encourages the bloom.
