Weather

Hi Everyone ;o) Well, I have been watching on the news, how my friends in the United States, especially Chicago, are getting hit with alot of snow!! Our storm is starting tonight! We are suppose to get up to 40cm of snow! We are filling up everything with water and mom has already cooked the chicken for tomorrow, just incase the power goes out! Please, if you have to be out in this weather, be careful! And, please make sure to stay warm!!! Stay home if you can!!!

Stay safe everyone ;o)

  1. Thank you for being so thoughtful Stacy. My sisters live in a suburb of Chicago and they have been out stocking up on supplies they may need. I was around for the 1967 blizzard that hit Chicago. I was about 21 so I remember it well :) You stay safe up there in Canada too. I am your neighbor in a manner of speaking. I live right next door in Minnesota :)

Your two new ACEOs look like they are turning out very nice...can't wait to see them finished.

  3. My sisters know what to do. They have been thru this before...thank you for caring Stacy:) Chicago gets hammered often by lake affect snows. So what do I do? I keep heading north where it is colder and snowier :)

  5. We're getting our storm tonight, Stacy! It's actually snowing very gently now, while I sip my coffee and read my favorite blogs. You sound very snug and safe, I hope you weathered the storm. :)

  7. You will have time to create much more of your cute ACEO's while it is snowing. Maybe it will inspire you to create a Crow-snowman? We are lucky in Va. only rain. Anyway stay safe and warm. :-)

  9. hmmm, I see a dragonfly :-)
glad to hear you are prepared, it never occurred to me to get water in buckets just in case. As it turned out, it was a pretty wimpy storm for us. It was over in the morning, and there may be a few inches on the ground only. Happy to get a snow day out of it, as it was blowing around quite a bit when I got up at 6:30. You are up north, so I imagine it will be much worse for you.
Stay warm and make art :-D

  15. You take care, too Stacy! We had an ice storm all last night, but thankfully it did not turn out as bad as they predicted! I still have every pot filled with water just in case! Right now it is well above freezing & everything (including my precious icicles) is melting! Be safe, my friend!

  16. Love the sneak peek Stacy! I hope you are OK & sounds like there's some snow shovelling activities coming up - although I still have a mental picture of you making 'snow angels' before you shovel! Take care & how prepared is your mom!!
