Hi Everyone ;o) Well, I have been watching on the news, how my friends in the United States, especially Chicago, are getting hit with alot of snow!! Our storm is starting tonight! We are suppose to get up to 40cm of snow! We are filling up everything with water and mom has already cooked the chicken for tomorrow, just incase the power goes out! Please, if you have to be out in this weather, be careful! And, please make sure to stay warm!!! Stay home if you can!!!
Stay safe everyone ;o)
Stay safe everyone ;o)
Thank you for being so thoughtful Stacy. My sisters live in a suburb of Chicago and they have been out stocking up on supplies they may need. I was around for the 1967 blizzard that hit Chicago. I was about 21 so I remember it well :) You stay safe up there in Canada too. I am your neighbor in a manner of speaking. I live right next door in Minnesota :)ReplyDelete
Your two new ACEOs look like they are turning out very nice...can't wait to see them finished.
Hey Jan ;o) I hope your sisters are ok!!! I wasn't born in 1967, but they were saying on the news, that Chicago, gets hit bad alot! They were talking with some people and they were all great! Smiling away ;o) Hi to Minnesota ;o)ReplyDelete
Yes, I am almost done them!! Trying to get them finished, just incase the power goes out! LOL!
My sisters know what to do. They have been thru this before...thank you for caring Stacy:) Chicago gets hammered often by lake affect snows. So what do I do? I keep heading north where it is colder and snowier :)ReplyDelete
You are cute Jan ;o) And, I'm glad your sisters know what to do! It does help ;o)ReplyDelete
We're getting our storm tonight, Stacy! It's actually snowing very gently now, while I sip my coffee and read my favorite blogs. You sound very snug and safe, I hope you weathered the storm. :)ReplyDelete
Keep safe and warm my friend. the sneak peek looks amazing, they will be fun to see finished. I love dragonflies.ReplyDelete
You will have time to create much more of your cute ACEO's while it is snowing. Maybe it will inspire you to create a Crow-snowman? We are lucky in Va. only rain. Anyway stay safe and warm. :-)ReplyDelete
Stay safe and warm and enjoy the view from inside ;^)ReplyDelete
You are off to a great start on these little ones...just waiting to see the finished product...
hmmm, I see a dragonfly :-)ReplyDelete
glad to hear you are prepared, it never occurred to me to get water in buckets just in case. As it turned out, it was a pretty wimpy storm for us. It was over in the morning, and there may be a few inches on the ground only. Happy to get a snow day out of it, as it was blowing around quite a bit when I got up at 6:30. You are up north, so I imagine it will be much worse for you.
Stay warm and make art :-D
Hey Gina ;o) I hope your storm was ok ;o) We got alot of snow, but I don't think it was as bad as they said! We've already snow shoveled around the house and I took some snow off the roof too!ReplyDelete
Hey Marlene ;o) Thanks my friend ;o) Everything is well!! I can't wait to show everyone the aceo's ;o)ReplyDelete
Hey Crystal thanks and thanks for the idea ;o)ReplyDelete
Thanks so much Lee ;o) It's weird, when we were all outside snow shoveling, all of us were sweating! LOL! Good work out ;o)ReplyDelete
Hey Betty ;o) We got around 20-30cm's. Fun stuff snow shoveling!! LOL! And, yes, I will be painting today!!!ReplyDelete
You take care, too Stacy! We had an ice storm all last night, but thankfully it did not turn out as bad as they predicted! I still have every pot filled with water just in case! Right now it is well above freezing & everything (including my precious icicles) is melting! Be safe, my friend!ReplyDelete
Love the sneak peek Stacy! I hope you are OK & sounds like there's some snow shovelling activities coming up - although I still have a mental picture of you making 'snow angels' before you shovel! Take care & how prepared is your mom!!ReplyDelete
sHey Debbie ;o) Thanks so much! It wasn't as bad as they predicted here as well, but we still had alot of snow!! My arms got a good work out today!!!ReplyDelete
Thanks Shelle! My mom is so prepared! She's a great mom ;o) I did make a snow angel today ;o)ReplyDelete
Hi Stacy! I just thought you being a crow lover like me, that you would like to see the two photos that I posted on my new blog that I started today...ReplyDelete
I mentioned your blog in my posting...hope that was ok :)
Hugs Jan, thanks so much!!!ReplyDelete
Stacy, that is A LOT of snow. Hope you stay cozy and warm with your mom. And hope the power stays on so you can cuddle up in front of the tv. Great work in progress shots, can't wait to see how they turn out!ReplyDelete
Thanks Pam ;o) Everything is great! We survived! ;o) No power outage! Yeh! Just lots of shoveling!!!ReplyDelete
