New Baby Crow Aceo's!

Hey Everyone, I've been painting ;o) The first aceo, is called, "My Teddy Bears".



The next two go together ;o)The first one is called, "Love Works In Mysertious Ways". The girl and boy baby crow, just crashed into each other, while skating. The second one is called, "The Perfect Couple". The boy baby crow has a broken foot and the girl baby crow, has a broken wing. Each other's cast is signed with their hearts.

What My Sister-In-Law Made Me and Contest ;o)

Hi Everyone ;o) I hope you all had a very special holiday!! I did! I was spoiled! LOL! I had many special gifts, that were handmade! One of them came from my sister-in-law! I have took several pictures for you all to see ;o) It's a big black female crow. Tammy (my sister-in-law), made the hat and shawl for the crow. She put a hat on it, because I love wearing hats! She painted the beak and eyes. She made a necklace, that included a heart, for the "love", in MagicLoveCrow. At the bottom, you will see a paint brush and a crystal, for the "magic", in MagicLoveCrow. Now, that's not it. Tammy printed off one of my paintings and attached it too a canvas and also put my picture on it. This canvas sits on an easel and underneath you can see the paint spots, a paint brush and and a black heart. This is the painting that the crow has painted ;o) The painting is called, "Me and Mommy". Isn't this cool! I love it so much! I still believe, that things handmade are the best! Either making them yourself or buying them. Now, since I love this so much, I would like to have a contest! Whoever gives me the best name for my crow, will get something from me in the mail! It might be something big, it might be something small, it could be from my shop, or it could be something new. I'm not sure yet, but I would like to share my happiness with all of you! Merry Christmas Everyone

I thought I would write now, because from friday till monday, we are going to have a full house!! Good food, family and friends, what more could I ask for ;o) I wanted to share something very special to me, with all of you! My mom's "Little Baby Jesus". This was given to my mom, 52 years ago. My mom is 71. It always comes out at Christmas time and is placed under our tree! I love it so much! I hope all of you have a very Blessed Christmas ;o))

Christmas Song - Brenda Lee - Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree

Hey Everyone ;o) I feel so good today. I thought I would just write to say hi ;o)) My mom has started making homemade bread, cinnamon buns, and regular buns. It's a long day process, with making the bread, letting it sit, for it to raise, and then needing it and baking it. It's something we treasure every year. Mom always says, enjoy it, because it might be the last year. It's alot of work!! Takes her all day! The kitchen is so hot, that by the end, she's in her bra! LOL! The heat is needed to make the bread rise! I'll try to take some pics! Not of her and her bra, but of the bread! LOL! Just to let you know, she use to be a baker! The customers use to line up for the butter tarts and bread! LOL!

Stitches Out!! YEH!!!

Hey Everyone ;o)
I just got home and my stitches are out! Yeh! I didn't get to see the doctor, he was in the hospital. The nurse said, I looked great and I healed very nicely ;o) I showed the nurse and the secretary the aceo I did for the doctor and they both liked it. They also loved the chocolates I bought for them! The secretary was opening the box, before I left! LOL! I have to phone back on friday, because I haven't got the results back yet, to make sure I am cancer free. But, the nurse is pretty sure I am ;o) Have a great day everyone!!!

New White Crow Aceo ;o)

"In classical mythology, when the crow told the god Apollo that his lover Coronis was cheating on him with a mortal, he became very angry, and part of that anger was directed at the crow, whose feathers he turned from white to black."
If you see a white crow, it is very special and rare! Enjoy the aceo. I only paint a few a year of the white crow, because I respect that it is very special!
Hope everyone is having a great day! Ontario, Canada, is having a cold spell!! -25 tonight and windy! I'll have to wear socks to bed! LOL! I love this weather!!! Tomorrow, hopefully, I get my stitches out! Yeh!!

New Canvas Painting and New Baby Crow Aceo ;o)

Well, I have been busy painting! The weather for tomorrow and monday is suppose to be yucky! Rain, freezing rain and snow! So, since I take my pictures outside, I did alot today ;o)
My first is a canvas painting ;o) It's called "Best Friends" and the name of these paintings are called, "Smudges". Smudges are about looking at your inner beauty and being proud of who you are! "We all have our smudges, that's what makes us each different and wonderful ;o) I hope this painting brings a smile to your face ;o) I had alot of fun painting it and I think I will be doing more ;o)










My second painting is called, "Family". It's my brother and sister baby crow ;o) Enjoy! And, I hope all of you are having a great day ;o)

Original Inukshuk Baby Crow Aceo

Inukshuk, the singular of inuksuit, means "in the likeness of a human" in the Inuit language. They are monuments made of unworked stones that are used by the Inuit for communication and survival. The traditional meaning of the inukshuk is "Someone was here" or "You are on the right path."

The Inuit make inuksuit in different forms for a variety of purposes: as navigation or directional aids, to mark a place of respect or memorial for a beloved person, or to indicate migration routes or places where fish can be found. Although most inuksuit appear singly, sometimes they are arranged in sequences spanning great distances or are grouped to mark a specific place.

And, my head looks soooooooooooo good! It's itchy too, which means it's healing!!!
Well, speaking of my head, here is the aceo I made for my doctor. When I started doing it, at first, I wasn't sure, but I liked it at the end! I'm not doing one for the nurse or the secretary. I got them good chocolates!!! They can all share them ;o)

I've Been Painting ;o)

Hey Everyone ;o) Hope you're doing well ;o) Well, I've been painting ;o) Actually, when I started yesterday, I felt something coming down on my face, and it was blood! Lucky I got it before it dropped on the aceo! LOL! Everyday is a little better ;o) I'm still talking very little and trying not to do any facial expressions! Fun Stuff!
The names of my new aceo's are...."Thanks Santa" and "Firecracker Love". I was thinking of Valentine's Day! Take Care, I'm going to try to start the one for my doctor! "Little Baby Doctor Crow", LOL!

Day Two ;o)))

Hey Everyone ;o) Well, it was hard to get to sleep last night at first. My head was throbbing! LOL! But, I took a pain killer and I was off ;o) Now, remember I said yesterday, the doctor said I had a very tight scalp, so he had to pull the skin very tight to keep it closed. (So, I got a minny face lift.) My Mom commented on my eyes this morning. I looked in the mirror, they are both bruised! I really did get a face lift! LOL! What I am finding, is that it hurts when I talk, so, the house is getting a break! Untill I recover, I am sitting in silence! Big change for me ;o) LOL!
One good thing, alot of the bleeding has stopped! Yeh ;o)

Hey Everyone ;o) I first want to thank all of you for the get well wishes ;o) BIG HUGS!!!! I had my little operation this morning ;o) The doctor and nurse were fantastic!! The doctor had me laughing through the entire procedure! Even though my head was frozen, I could still tell what he was doing. When it came to put the stitches in, he was really pulling! So, I asked him why? And, he said, some people have a very tight scalp, also it means I have alot of brains! LOL! He also said that I was getting a minny face lift! LOL! But, also added, not that I needed one ;o) Such a nice person! There was alot of blood and still is! I didn't realize the head is the part of the body that bleeds the most! So, I'm doing well ;o) I have to go back on the 14th for a check-up ;o) I think I might do an aceo for him and the nurse! It really makes a difference when you feel so comfortable ;o) Have a great day everyone! Maybe I will do some painting ;o) Yeh!! Take Care ;o)
