Hi Everyone!
Hope you're well!
Remember this?
Well, this is what it looks like now.
I've been doing lots of gardening. Transplanting, trimming and cutting the lawn.

Happy to see  my mint coming up. I have a really large patch. It smells great and makes great tea!
Next picture, to the left, chives and to the right, one of my favourite trees. I have 3 of them. "Taxus Baccata", "or should I say, Yew Tree. So easy to grow and maintain! Now behind the tree, you will see some of my "wild" flowers. If Mother Nature wants to give me a gift, I leave it alone.
I took some close up pictures of these flowers. Well, they haven't bloomed yet, but I took pictures of the leaves, for CJ. On her blog, she has something growing and she's not sure what it is. Unfortunately, I think the leaves on my plant are smaller than her's, but it could be in the same family?
See that tiny little white ball in the middle? It will soon bloom a really pretty flower. I'll take pictures when this happens.

I have started a new painting! Some progress pictures for you.

And, this is where I'm at now.
I'll leave you with a picture of me outside. Hot, smiling and in my soul, never been happier!
Big Hugs 😀

  10. Your garden is such a pretty peaceful spot. The leaves on my mystery plant are broader. No flower in the middle. The leaves almost look like strawberry leaves, but the plant is tall (6 - 8 in) and not creeping like strawberry plants. I love your smiling face and your adorable hat

  17. You look so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
I'm hot, happy and smiling too now that it's summer! Yeah, I think spring skipped us here lol...it's 30C right now! I love it. My spirit is happy.

My mint however is NOT happy...I don't know why I can't grow mint! I need to do some more research, it could be the seeds, or maybe the soil isn't working out! I ended up buying a small mint plant so we could have mint juleps one of these days! :)

I thought the background of beautiful reds, oranges, and cooler colors was a spectacular stand alone painting! It's fascinating to watch how you layer color which gives your paintings depth. Your posts are always a joy to read and to see your new art work and gardens are lovely! I'm so happy to hear that things are going well for you and you've had some special time to reflect and get to know yourself again! I think that's something we all need to do from time to time! I've finally posted on my own neglected blog again!
    Take care, hugs ~ Diane
