Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
Thank you for all your comments on my last post! Means a lot to me!
It's pouring rain here and by the end of this week, we will be reaching summer temperatures! Crazy! Today I was outside, trimming a tree and I was getting too hot! LOL!

Things are starting to sprout!
I finished a painting.
Here are some progress pictures.
"All You Are Is Love" (5" x 5" Wood)

  1. Beautiful.. I'm struggling to draw wine glass.. I simply cannot draw any symmetrical figure.. that's pretty big problem to me.. :(

  2. the flowers look familiar - i doubt they are crocus - but they seem familiar. I'm sure your newest painting will be great! As all of them are.

As always, I love your depiction of clever corvids.

  5. I totally suck at any type of gardening or yard work, so I always admire anyone who can.(lol) I adore anything that's purple for sure. As always, love your painting! Hugs...RO

  6. I love those flowers. Every year at this time I start pining for my garden. Getting older now and gave up the house for apartment living. Window gardening is just not the same.

  7. I think that painting needs just a bit of dark blue in the crows. You know? Like just a trace of blue and the hearts should have a trace of dark red with a dry brush effect. It's all just too black. We are in the mid 80's here with a few clouds and light breezes. It's sooooo darn pretty after a dark and wet winter. We skipped spring and went straight to summer. I have a feeling summer is going to be a killer this year.

  19. You know, I shouldn't even look at the weather any more. It seems that whatever you get, we'll get in a day or two. It's raining on us still. They warmth shall arrive in a few days.

I really like the painting from beginning to end. And absolutely LOVE the title.

  25. I love baby leaves and flowers, Stacy, so I love your photos. Each one is a miracle when it pops out of the Earth, speaking of hope and rebirth. Wonderful use of shape in your painting. I so enjoy looking at your art and seeing how it works!

  26. You must remain true to your artistic visions, Stacy! When people don't, they become hacks, IMHO! I didn't find this painting vulgar, but I did find it disturbing. It's nothing about you and your painting, but about me. I was powerfully affected by the movie "The Exorcist" when it first came out so many years ago, and the lady's backwards head reminds me of my feelings during that movie.
