Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
The weather around here, is suppose to get crazy again, over the next few days. Actually right now, the sky is dark and the snow is falling!

I did finish this painting!
I took lots of work in progress photos. I was surprised where I went with this one! It was a lot of fun!
And, finally, the finished painting. I didn't like the back wing, so I took that off.
I really liked how his "smile" turned out and I like his hat too! LOL!
"The Treasure Hunter" (5" x 7" canvas)
Big Hugs 🙂

  2. Beautifully done Stacy! I love all the rich color. Good luck with the weather. The snow is supposed to start for us tomorrow morning and it sounds like it will be blizzard like.

  13. I read a news story once about how crows will drink out of bottles, even when they can't reach the water, bvy filling the bottle with rocks to raise the water elevel.

    This reminded me of that.

  14. The weather is going bad around these parts, too. We are getting a snow day tomorrow (so, of course, the Little Princess is celebrating). I hope the wintry madness says goodbye soon. I'm ready for some blooms. :-D

Love this painting. The wee hat is just adorable!

  16. It's really so cool to see how you take a blank screen, then walk us through the steps of how you create such a lovely painting, and how the crow magically appears at the end to bring it all together. Lovely and fascinating! Hugs...RO
