Hi Everyone
Hope you're all well.
Our groundhog said 6 more weeks of winter! So, today the sun was shining, and I made sure I ran outside to take pictures! This weekend there is suppose to be a "storm" coming in!

This is the last photo I took of this painting.
And, here it is completed.
"Following The Beat Of My Inner Drum" (8" x 16" wood)
Some close ups. I like the way her hair turned out. I did a matte finish on this painting. I usually do a light satin finish. Something different for me.
Now, for my Ukrainian Dancers.
This is where I left you.
This is where I'm at now. I'm having fun. Trying to get in all the little details.
Big Hugs 😃

  6. The cold front passed through Texas yesterday afternoon. Today was in the 50's. Those guys don't give that groundhog time to even see his shadow. Shameful. It looks like the woman in the painting has dreadlocks. Cool.

  15. We had no sun sooooo, early Spring? But the thing is, here, that just means six more weeks of rain either way! lol Love the Inner Drum piece Stacy! Very "fire" in feel, perfect for the Candlemas time of year. And the Uranian dancing crows are going to be sooooo beautiful! :)

Enjoy the sun while it is there and the storms to come too! Spring IS around the corner either way. :)

    Big Crow Hugs!

  16. My dear friend...I love your idea with the crows around the eyes...it is like a mask. I kept thinking with your beautiful choice of colors and the "mask" look that your painting is very Native American style.
I love the happiness in your Ukrainian painting...happy colors and dancing red boots!!!

    Hugs and Love
