*My Crows* *My Art* *My Way*

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
I don't know what to say, except, my arms are soar! LOL! Shovelling snow 3-4 times in a day, can do that!
It's been like this for 3 days. As soon as it lets up for a bit, out I go to shovel. I have to say, I really don't mind it. It's when the freezing rain comes in, that's what I don't like! Tomorrow, we are suppose to get hit again and guess what? Freezing rain warning in the afternoon! For like 3 hours! Now when that mixes with the snow, that's heavy slippery stuff! I don't like that! Hopefully it won't be as bad as they are saying! I think the Groundhog was right this year!

Through this all, I have been creating another baby crow.
This is where I'm at now.
I'l leave you with a crow funny!
Big Hugs 😁

  2. LOVE that sweet baby crow, and the crow funny is great. Sorry about the snow and the shoveling. It's been very cold here and snowed overnight, so it's probably icy outside now, too. Have a great Sunday, BIG hugs, Valerie

  4. Baby crow looks happy.
I'd just stop shoveling at that point. I'd get a heated driveway like my brother has. And yes, it works - no snow or ice ever on his driveway.

  6. Ugh, we had snow to sleet to freezing rain on Friday. Just nasty. Temps have warmed and it's raining. All the ice and snow has gone, but if the temps drops, we'll be able to play hockey on the driveway.

Baby crow is cute and I like the purple flowers. Funny cartoon, too.

  9. Ha Ha that is too cute. Before moving to Oregon my whole life was spent in deep snow country, from AK to N. Idaho. So I know about shoveling snow. When we left Idaho I told Mike I NEVER WILL live in snow country again. I do not miss it at all. Love your little baby crow. Hugs and have a very warm day.

  11. Think of the great shape all that shoveling does for us. I don't participate in it much, easier to pay for it.i posted a few crow shots for you.

  17. We've been rained on, hard. But no snow, so I guess we should be grateful while it lasts--we're supposed to be getting some snow soon.

  18. The freezing rain was pelting us yesterday - and my son was out on track matting. He said those balls of ice felt like he was being shot repeatedly!! Lol
Still, he did manage to persevere...and won 1st Place trophy!😊

Oh I do so love your beautiful Crow painting, and I can't wait to see it finished! 😊😊

Lots of love and hugs xx

  19. Be careful Stacy! We have been lucky here with the weather but did have rain over snow last week. I had to shovel 3 times so Jim could get in the driveway when he got home. I was so sore for the heaviness! Then it warmed up so we have only been getting rain.

Your new baby is a cutie! Fun cartoon too. :)

  20. Haha! Cute crow. You must live in upstate NY, or somewhere in the snow belt. We were in Oswego for a time, right on Lake Ontario, and that shoveling was my exercise for a HUGE portion of the year. I liked it and despised it at the same time. Not much else you can do when it's constantly snowy and freezing out, eh? Well, besides paint.

  21. Ah snow! I so miss snow!!! I'm actually taking down anything winter related in my house right now because 75 degree days makes all that feel stupid. I can't wait to move north again! Great crows!

  22. Ha ha ha, I love that crow funny! :) Gosh we had the same weather here too. We got the driveway shoveled just before the freezing rain started, thank goodness or it would have been a block of ice out there! Sore muscles from shoveling...I'm used to that 5 months each year now! Makes me appreciate the easy going summers more! :)

  26. What an adorable little crow, nd I like seeing your drawing process. Wow! That's a lot of snow for sure, and the shoveling to go with it. It's pretty much been in the 60's here in NC, but I'd love another day of snow here before we reach Spring. Thanks for the smiles to day! Hugs...RO

  27. How's the weather now? Can you get out okay?
I went out this morning for the morning cats and dog walk and OMCod, the tulips are coming up! I need to get some kind of mulch on them, they are so going to get weather-smacked.

  29. Our last snowstorm was almost all ice. So hard to do anything with! Everything was a slippery mess. I can imagine how tough it was to shovel all your snow.

    Love the comic!

  30. Your backyard is gorgeous, but I don't envy you the shoveling. I've done more than my share of that in this lifetime. I hope you are using a good shovel and being cognizant of your back! I hope you didn't get all that sleet! Sending you a big hug!
