Hi Everyone 😊
Hope you're all well!

I don't know how to explain, what I'm feeling right now.
Have you ever been away, just for a short time and think, did this really happen? Was this a dream?
Feel so at one with yourself and others.
Have someone say to you, you're amazing and say thank you. To accept a complement from a complete stranger and know he means it, is a big thing, especially for me. For many of us, it's hard to accept a complement. It's all about loving ourselves. Ever little inch! And, loving all our quirks, fears, anxieties, etc. (Things we want to hide from others.) I have truly came to this point! I Love Me!! And, it feels so damn good!! Lots of crying and there still is. When I came home and looked at myself in a mirror and said, you're amazing, the tears started to flow!

To have people come up to you and say, I love your laugh and give them a big hug.

To be you! To have others be themselves. To get along so naturally, so lovingly.

I feel like I have been zapped! And, it feels so good!

When I came home, I weighed myself, (I always do). Now all of you know, I was away for 3 days and two nights. I lost 6 pounds! And, I did eat!

Live!! All we are is this moment!
And, live with passion. So many of us want things and think things will change when we get them. Why can't we start living, like we already have those things?

It was truly an amazing weekend. And, I am hoping to do something like this again, maybe in September and October.

Again, thank you all for letting me share this and thank you for reading!

I'll probably only make one post this week. I have a lot of catching up to do with all of you.

Here are some photos from the garden.

All Of You Are Amazing!!!!

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!

A quick little post.
Sorry, no paintings to show this week.

This weekend, Friday, till Sunday evening, I will be totally "unplugged". I'm going on a weekend retreat (by myself) and I'm so excited! Never done anything like this before.

I promise to catch up with you all, when I get back!!!

I had planned to write more, but every time I wrote something, I deleted it! I just can't explain how much I have "grown" since January. A complete shift has taken place and it feels amazing. There has been tones of crying, but that is good! You have to focus on what is happening inside of you.

Hard to explain this all, but I hope you kind of get what I'm talking about.

Thanks for letting me share this and thanks for reading!

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
Everything is budding and turning green!
So happy the rhubarb is doing well!! I love rhubarb!!
I'm down to one and a little bit left in my bags of earth. I have a lot of transplanting to do, after May 24 weekend. That is a "rule" in Canada, never plant anything before that time, because we could have frost or snow. Actually, last night, we did have frost!

I finished another painting. Here are some progress photos.
Finished painting,
"Hi Beautiful Soul, I'm Here For You" (6" x 8" wood panel)

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well! We had a good rain storm, so everything is starting to bloom. The only thing is, we had really high winds too! Tomorrow, more raking to do!

I managed to finish two paintings!
Remember this one?
Well, I didn't change it that much.

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well 😃
Happy May! This year is going by so fast!
We have went from Spring to Summer temperatures in just 2 days. Crazy weather!

Where I live, all of our outside stuff goes into brown bags and then gets picked up at the curb. These bags you see, are just from the front yard and I'm not done yet!

The statue you see above, greets everyone when you come to the front door.
Remember I was telling you, I was trimming our spruce tree? Well, I think I did very well. I kept going around and around, (my neighbours thought I had went nuts! LOL! They know me well! LOL!) I got up to roughly 13 feet. When you look at the picture, the branches were over the driveway to the left. It was a lot of cutting! Took me like 4 days.

I did manage to start a painting. Here are some progress pictures.
I have to admit, I like the way it looks now.

I'll be around soon to say hi!

Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
I've been doing lots of tree trimming and yard work. I emptied one of the bags of earth! Yepee!
Today, the temperatures are colder and we are expecting snow! But, by Monday, summer temperatures all the way. I guess the snow wanted one more appearance! LOL!

I did finish a little painting.
Here are some progress pictures.

What Do You Think?

Hi Everyone
Hope you're all doing well!
The snow is starting to melt around here! I truly think Spring has arrived!

When I show my art, on my blog, I love hearing all your comments. Especially when I show my progress pictures. I really find it interesting how people "see" or "feel" art. Even if they don't like something, I think all feed back is good!

I just finished another painting, which I will be showing you soon. When I showed this painting to someone close to me, they said, do you want the honest truth? I said, I wouldn't want it any other way.  They said it looked "vulgar".

I looked up what vulgar meant, and some of the words that were mentioned were, tasteless, gaudy, garish, rude, indecent etc.

It's funny, I took no offence and kind of smiled. As you all know, I paint my adult crows and baby crows and sometimes, you might even see a woman. I truly never force a painting.

But, I have to admit, I have "changed" some of my art, because of what someone said. And, I thought, what am I doing? I always tell people to be true to their soul and most of the time I am, but now I'm going to be 100%.

Wait till you hear what I called this painting. Everything came together, with this piece and what I am writing to you today.

Here are some of the progress pictures of the painting.
Before I show you the finished piece, one of the main things the person didn't like about this painting, was the design above the bum. I said that is her "tattoo"! LOL!

Finished painting:
"I Hear You, I Feel You, I Honour You And I Am Here To Be Me, Now, As Never Before"
(8" x 10" canvas)
(Personally, I just love the feeling of the entire painting. Especially the way the crows are looking.)

I have to admit, this discussion started, because the place that makes the bags and journals that I got, started to make new bags, that are purses and I think this would be so cool as a purse. I know not everyone would wear it, but I would.

I didn't realize I was "thinking" so much of everything!
I just have to go for it!! At least I can say, it's all unique! 😀

Have a great one!

Big Hugs 😃

I forgot, I did design a mother and baby crow purse too.

Hi Everyone
Hope you're all well!
Well, we made it through the storm! Haven't been out of the driveway since early Friday morning! LOL! Hopefully by Wednesday.
We got high winds, rain, freezing rain and ice pellets.
I didn't know there was a difference between freezing rain and ice pellets. When everything started to come down, I thought it was snow, wrong! Ice pellets!
I know this doesn't look too bad on our driveway, but that is all ice! You can see the little path I made with some salt to the end. The snow plow filled the end and I pushed out as much ice as I could, but there is still a large hump and there is no way of moving it! Spring to Summer temperatures by the end of the week, so hopefully it will be all melted.

The power flickered off and on a couple of times, but really not that bad!
I felt bad for all the animals, so I started to put some seed out the back door for them.
(Warning, lots of photos! LOL!)

Once one comes, they all start coming!
Here comes the birds!
The Redwing Black birds started to come in too.
Mr. Cardnial was on the bird feeder.
Mrs. Dove looked at me through the window.
And, then sneaky grey squirrel was trying to get into the house! LOL!
The black squirrels and Mr. Woodpecker came to visit too. It was a fun afternoon!

I will leave you with my mom's cactus plant. It's starting to bloom again. Don't ask me the name of it, because I don't know! LOL!

Big Hugs 😃
