*My Crows* *My Art* *My Way*

Hi Everyone
Hope you're all doing well!
I want to welcome you to Magaly's October's Heart-Bits, blog party. The topic is simple, Love is Love is Love..... and Words. "Write about the art, that you are happiest to create."

My love of creating art, came through my connection with the love of my crows.

A little story to share with you.

I don't know when,
I don't know why,
All I did, was look into the sky.

Their "Caw" called to me.
Their eyes looked into my soul.

I always say, it happened at a young age. A very young age.

The Children of The Sky, called to me.

A true store to tell. We were traveling far away.
I walked out of a store. My mom, at the car, looking up. As I reached her, she stated, did you not see? What? I responded. 3, I counted 3. They weren't even flying, they were circling your head, as if they were floating, (gliding),  in the air. Since that day, my mom "believes" in our connection.

Then, one snowy day, near Christmas, I went into hospital. I didn't know what was going to happen, but I was at peace. Our journeys through life, take us in so many directions! I wasn't meant to leave Mother Earth, yet. As I started to come out of everything, I looked at my mom and said, I'm suppose to create. Paint My Crows. Questioning everything, because I am not professionally trained, I settled down and started to believe. That's when the birth of my crows and my art, started.

"My first painting"
It was sold on Ebay. Sometimes I wish I had of kept it, but then I think, he was meant to fly to a new home, to inspire me to keep going.
My name, "MagicLoveCrow", was not birthed till September 2009. The way I am "known" now.

For this special blog party, I did create a piece to giveaway.
"Tender Hearts" (4" x 4")
As always, if you want to enter the giveaway, just say, you want the painting in your comment! The winner will be announced on November 1st!
Thanks Magaly for this special blog party!
Big Hugs 😀

  4. You beautiful and loving crow woman. The crows are you and you are them. The two become one in heart and in soul. When they fly...you fly. When they call to one another...you answer. They flew in a circle above you because circles have no beginning nor do they have an end. You and your beloved crows will always have a very special bond.
I love and adore you art. You have always been special and magical. It shows in every painting that you create.
I love you dear friend and I know that your lovely poem, your thoughts and your art come from your heart.

    Love and Hugs Always 💕

  5. I read your poem with a hand over my heart and a shiny smile on my face. This is the sort of love this blog party is all about: the one that speaks of art that is born from the spirit, from need to share a feeling, from the depths of what we are (and who we have become). I am looking at the picture of your first painting and I'm about to cry because the background is sooo red. It feels right. As right as the rest of your story, as perfect as it is to have a friend like you in my life.

Thanks a million for adding your very honest and stunning crow-love to my October's Heart-Bits.

I'm a greedy minion, so of course, I want to enter the giveaway.

  31. When I first started visiting your blog, I read ‘your story’ so knew something of your time in hospital but I didn’t understand why you chose to paint crows. This post has really told that story, interesting and magical, thank you. Of course, I would love to win your painting, but I live in the UK so may not be eligible to enter, and that is perfectly OK. Have a happy week, Barbara

  32. Stacy what a treat to see that first painting! My how your style has come thru over the years and continues to grow each with passing one. Your story always inspires and what I love most is that you are so fully into your "place" here and it seems so perfect. So many people are so fraught with wanting to know what it is they're here to do or caught up in thinking they must have something grand to contribute when it's really just about doing the thing you love each and every day. It's about that one person alone in one room somewhere who discovers your work and is inspired.

You, of course, move forward in this world in your desire to paint and sell your artwork but, at the heart of it is your desire to share who and what you are. That's what people connect with. That's what touches the heart and inspires. Each of us has our own path, our own way to that place. It's not about big or small purposes because it's all integral to the creative light in our world. Every word, every image, every story, every idea. . . all part of the greater design. Keep bringing your light to the world Stacy!!!! BIG crow hugs!!
