Rose Of Sharon Trees and Chipmunks

Hi Everyone
Hope you're well!
I thought I would show off some of my Rose Of Sharon Trees. I have many, but the main ones are on the south side, walking into our backyard. I have formed a hedge out of them. I love Rose Of Sharon Trees. They are so easy to take care of! Just make sure they have lots of sun. I cut them down towards winter, otherwise they get too big. Also, when they are happy, they have lots of babies. In spring time, I am always pulling tones out! LOL! We have white, purple and pink flowers.
Going into our backyard.

I have been counting the chipmunks around us. I see 5. Yes, I can tell them apart. They all have there own characteristics. One day, I saw a mom with her baby on her back. It was the most cutest thing I have ever saw. The latest one, that is coming to me, has a little mark on this back leg. I don't know if he got into a fight? Guess what, I got some pictures of me petting him! Enjoy!

I love their little feet!

I do so love nature!!
Big Hugs 😊

  1. Your rose of Sharon are beautiful. Maybe I should plant some along the side of the house. I like easy to take care of as I don't have a green thumb. How cool that you can pat the chipmunks. The ones in my yard are too skittish and run at the slightest movement. Oh, and thanks for solving the mystery of the missing sunflower petals. Have a great week.

  2. Your Rose of Sharon bushes are wonderful, you must have lots of green thumbs. How lovely to see the little chipmunk, and for you to be able to pet it, so pretty. We don't have them over here. He seems to be enjoying his food, too! Have a nice evening, hugs, Valerie

  12. Oh such GORGEOUS little chipmunks!!
When I was in Canada many years ago, I remember feeding some by hand. They are really cute!
I love your Rose of Sharon flowers too. We have some growing in our garden, but ours are yellow. They flower all summer...in fact, we even had a few flowers last Christmas!

Do hope you are well, Sweetie!

    Lots of Love xoxoxoxo

  13. The chipmunk is so cute.

You're braver than I am. I tend to get bitten by any animal I try and touch, so I wouldn't have the nerve.

  14. I am so jealous of your rose of sharon! I have one at my old house but we do not have any here. We were looking for them over the summer but the only place that carried then was super expensive! They are so pretty. :) Your chipmunks are super cute. I love that you can go right up to them. They are a lot of fun to watch.
