Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
Fall is for sure in the air! I love being outside at this time! I was getting some gardening done. I have 5 large patches of Russian Sage. Russian Sage is one of my favourite plants. It smells great and it's drought resistant.
It grows very tall. Sometimes you have to stake it. Also, if you let it, it will spread. I have one area, where it keeps spreading and spreading. So, I spent the day, placing rocks and stepping stones in certain areas, so I could get around it.
It doesn't look like much now, because I had to cut some of the plants back, but when it grows in next year, it will look good.
See that part on the right hand side, where the rocks are in a circle. I cut down an old tree, left the stump and let the Russian Sage wrap itself around it.
I got a picture of some of the birds saying hello.
For 3 days, I was designing my new business cards and stickers. As soon as I get them, I will be showing you! Next thing, is getting some of the bags designed!

I did manage to get two paintings finished.

"Wagon Ride" (2.5" x 3.5")
"Spirit Guides" ( 8" x 8")
Big Hugs 😃

  9. I enjoyed seeing pictures of your garden. Love the dragon gargoyle. Wagon Ride is adorable. Reminds me when my girlies were little and would pull each other around the yard in the wagon.

  10. Oooo. Very pretty. I tried to grow Russian Sage once to no luck. Had it in the same pot with something else and it just refused to share even a large space for some reason.

  17. I love the smell of sage - I use to have it in my yard before we sold several years ago. I always love your crows.

Fall - yes...just yesterday I noticed some leaves beginning to change over in Lake Arrowhead - yet nothing here yet - we are a few hundred feet lower in altitude so we are not as chilly at night yet. Can't wait for the full explosion of color.

  19. Hi, Stacy! I love Russian sage. It grows really well around here. It is such a pretty plant. I like your two paintings. I am amazed that you can paint on such a tiny canvas as in "Wagon ride." I can barely sign my name in a space that size. LOL Have a good one, my friend!
