Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
For the past month and a half, it has been cool temperatures and rain, but next week, we are suppose to get record breaking heat temperatures! From one extreme to another! One good thing, I won't have to cut the grass as much! LOL!

I have finished two paintings. Both are 8" x 10".

Home Sweet Home
Embrace Yourself
I'll leave you with some garden pictures.
Big Hugs 😊

Dig the second painting as well!
I guess I'm all about seconds.
We've been cool the past two days, but I'm sure our time is coming...

  3. I completely understand what you are saying about the rain and extreme change in temperatures. We have had two months of the same kind of thing.

WOW! I love your new paintings. I must say though that "Embrace Yourself" really grabs me!

    Big hugs and many blessings!!!

  7. Just wrote a long comment, and it all disappeared....Okay, once again! Lovely to see you posting again, and hope you are keeping well. Your new art is gorgeous, I especially love the first one, with those soft colours in the background. Lovely pics from the garden, too. We have had very strange weather here, too - extreme heat for days, then cold, wet and freezing, like now, and at the weekend it will be getting really hot again. Have a great day, BIG hugs, Valerie

  8. We are having the same wacky weather here! Finally we have sunshine! It was becoming depressing with so much rain. Nature is crazy happy though being so green and full of flowers from it. :) Your garden looks happy too. The new paintings are beautiful. I would love to lie on a bed of flowers too like that baby crow!

  11. Hey Stacy, how are you feeling? Hope you are doing well. We (here in Texas) are starting our drought phase of summer, meaning no rain until September or October. We are now in the 90's during the day and 60's at night. It's wonderful! BTW, is that a new header? Nice, I like it.
The first painting looks like he's in a laid back lazy mood in a patch of flowers, watching the day go by. The second one makes me feel like there is a moment of freedom. Stretching his wings to fly. Awesome!.
I love the gargoyle. I want one but can't find anything big enough that I like. I really want one of a cat with bat wings reading a book like the one I gave my sister for her garden. It's 2 ft. tall and awesome as hell.

  12. We are supposed to kiss the 90s on the 13th. I like the heat, so I'm happy about it... my Piano Man is not looking forward to it.

Love the expression on the face of "Home Sweet Home", and the tulip at the end is a miracle of dark colors!

  33. I love your first picture. It all looks so ‘laid back and happy’, and it makes me smile each time I look at it. I also enjoyed the other picture and all your photos.

We’ve had odd weather too, hot then cold, then wet then hot and so on and so forth. We were very lucky on our break as the sun came out on day one and stayed out for the entire week. When we got home it rained nonstop for five days so for once we picked the right week.

  37. I always enjoy seeing your beautiful crows! I have a raven couple that visit the yard several times a day to eat the scraps I throw out. They are now waking us up at dawn squacking for their food. I've taken pics and hoping to sketch them soon. Your crows always inspire me to paint although I lack the initiative sometimes. Hope all is well!
