Hi Everyone
Hope you're all well!
Have any of you been in a situation, where you have things "planned" and no matter what you do, things keep getting changed or delayed? There has been somethings, that have been going on since last year and now it's going to be delayed again! It just doesn't concern me, it concerns mom too. Sometimes, you want to scream and say, ok, enough already! LOL! But, I guess it's all a lesson in patience and keeping peace of mind! So many times, when everything gets done in the end, you say, ok, now I understand why things happened the way they did. But, it's just getting to that point!!

So, I have been up and down this week, but I am really trying to stay positive about everything!

Oh, this morning!!! The weather report was a chance of freezing rain in our area. Well, I had to put the garbage out this morning. I knew it had been "raining" and the driveway looked "wet", but I never thought anything of it. So, I went out in my running shoes and had the recycling box, not even two steps down the driveway, bang, down on my left side. I stayed down and pulled myself, until I was safe to get up. I thought I was doing ok throughout the day, but my hip and knee are sore, so I am sitting on ice packs!

I'm still smiling 😃

We are suppose to get rain for 4 days in a row! But, the sun peaked out today, so I did get a picture of the latest painting I am  working on. It's almost finished. Another moon painting! I'm loving the flow and the details of this one.
I will leave you with something positive! An update with the gym! I have 40 plus pounds off! Happy Dance!💃

Big Hugs

  3. Life has a way of happening whenever she feels like it. Very inconsiderate, if you ask me. Doesn't she know we have stuff to do?

I hope your hip and knee feel better soon.

And hooray! on losing 40 lbs.

  10. 40 pounds?! I am so happy for your Stacy! The hard work and commitment are paying off.

If it is any consolation, I fell on the ice bringing up our trash barrel last week! The wet look is so deceiving in the cold months. I hope your bruises heal up quickly. :) The moon painting is superb!

  14. ouch - you'll heal up fast with your positive attitude. So it looks like the timing just isn't right for what you want to happen - ...but yeah you'll know later why. Another crow masterpiece in the making.

  15. That is nice you are working with a goal. Sorry to hear about your slipping. I have done it many times. I slid down a slope almost 100 ft. Felt all my bones and figured nothing was hurt. Felt bad when crawling on my hands and knees it took 1/2 hour to get back where I was.Even better, my phone was in the car if there had been a injury.LOL

  16. Just love the crow and the moon! So sorry about your hip! I took a fall early in the winter on our steep driveway. I landed on my shoulder and it took quite a few days to feel normal again! Heal quickly!

So sorry to hear you fell on the ice. That is the worst. Hope the ice helped! Awesome news about the 40 pounds you are down. YEAH!!! Way to go. :)

I can relate to plans that get put on hold. Being patient can be hard! ;)

    Have a happy weekend.

  20. Oh dear...so sorry to hear you fell. Do take good care of yourself. Some things that can be helpful are soaking in Epson Salts in a hot tub and if you can find it in your area, Valerian Root is good. It's an all natural muscle relaxer that helps with pain...and helps one sleep! :)

Yes, I've been in a situ like that...with school. I've been trying to return to college several times to get my Bachelors and something halts it EVERY single time. Like 2 years ago when that horrible car accident happened to me. That was my 4th delay with school. I was able to finish my Associates but finally accepted obtaining my Bachelors just wasn't meant to be. Hang in there!!

  23. I love your blog! I just found it by following Alex J. Cavanaugh. Yes, I been in more than my share of moments where I find myself waiting. I'm expecting something and it changes. But wow, when the expectation finally happens, it's usually great. Like with my son. He was born an entire week late! That was difficult, but when he came into the world, it was the most precious thing. Have a lovely rest of your day and your artwork is lovely. Congratulations on your 40 pounds. I hope your soreness of the injury leaves you stronger than ever once you heal.

  25. I love this painting.......it shows the power you have reclaimimg your all. Did I ever tell you that the swirl is kind of my symbol. Coming from inside yourself to open spaces....moving on and upward. Your work is amazing and grown so much. Is this painting available for purchase .
