Hi Everyone!
Hope you're all well!
We had our first "real" snow fall today, but a lot of it has already melted! Last year was a green Christmas! I hope this year we will have snow!

I'm working on a special order for Finland! I'm so excited and grateful!

In-between working on that piece, I have finished another painting.
"Beautiful Creatures" (8"x 10" canvas)
I'm very pleased how this painting turned out.
I feel my art changing again! It's hard to explain, when this happens to me. It's a shift inside of me. We'll see what happens!
Big Hugs!

  3. It's fun when things just gradually evolve, isn't it? I mean, it's sad that artists move on, in a way, but exciting about what might still be in store.

I'm sort of jealous that you got snow. We haven't had snow in a few years and we're overdue. I'd like to get some this year!

  4. Love the new painting, and it's always exciting when something changes. No snow here, just frost. The crow you saw on my blog is made of glass, I knew you would like it. Take care of yourself, hugs, Valerie

  7. Helo, wanted to thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. Why do we love crows so much? I have painted them also and collected them too. They are fun to watch and on the farm, they are the first to let it be known that something is coming. Supposedly, crows were St. Francis' favorite animal.

  9. Beautiful Creatures is gorgeous! Jim's mom's family is from Finland. Maybe someday we can visit there. :) It is flattering getting custom orders across the globe! Wishing you a white Christmas Stacy. We had the snow yesterday too. I guess it was unexpected because there were tons of auto accidents around here!

  17. I dreamt a crow flew in my window and landed on my back last night. It felt amazing as it's black velvety wings wrapped around me. All I kept saying to hubby was "quick !...get a pic for Stacy!" lol XXX

  18. Gah! I miss snow! I want snow!

Artwork changes. Mine has been wanting to change for over a year now and I wasn't able to give it the room to do so. 2017 is going to be all about letting my art grow the way it wants to. If you can, let it grow! :)

  27. Like your art, I went through a few posts. Crow offer wisdom, and I often thank them when they are near. They have a network in the woods and it is amazing how they will all come in when they find an owl roosting, a natural enemy.Owls prey on them when they roost at night.

  29. should i say happy snow fall?
we live away from snowy mountains and hills so to see snow fall we have to take flight or train .

artists are always unpredictable in their expressions and such spontaneity makes them SPECIAL .
i loved these beautiful creactures .you are truly blessed with art
