New Art and Happy Mail

Hey Everyone ;o)
Well I have had a very busy week outside. I was going to take some pictures, but nothing is blooming yet. I promise soon ;o) To be honest, I have to order more mulch and dirt!

I received two beautiful paintings in the mail, from a dear blogger friend ;o) I was truly touched and honoured! If you don't follow Laurie, I would recommend it ;o) She is fun, sweet, honest, talented and inspirational ;o) I truly mean it ;o)
Laurie sent A Forest Faire for me ;o)
And, A Chickadee for Mom ;o)
Love everything Laurie ;o) Big hugs from mom and me ;o)

For myself, even though I have been busy outside, I haven't been able to stop painting! I hope you enjoy ;o)
"My Love" (5" x 7" wood)
"Little Star" (3" x 9" canvas)
"The Oath Keeper" (6" x 6" canvas)
"Trust" (8" x 8" canvas)
And, if I had to pick a favourite, it would be this one. I don't know where the harp came from, but I was meant to paint it ;o)
"The Harp Player"
Big Hugs ;o)

how nice of your friend to send you paintings, they are both lovely! there are so many delightful artists and they seem to be the most generous folks!

I'm not in the mood to do any gardening yet, it's just tooooo cold right now...hope the critters done eat all the buds of your magnolia tree. Mine was transplanted from my old house, where the dog pretty much chewed it down to a stump over the winter! I nursed it back to health, and several years later, it bloomed! I was so happy to see the 4 blooms, and every year since, it's been growing and growing. Now if only the sun would come out and stay out!

  23. Your newest paintings are wonderful! They have so much color, movement, and energy. I chuckled to myself when I read that you just want to paint right now. For the past few months, I have been having the opposite problem. Don't know what is going on in me. I just can't find my enthusiasm for doing my art. It is hiding right now. Hope I can find it again soon. Finally I started to get the feeling for writing and posting on my blog again. I suppose many people just feel a bit blocked sometimes. Finally, I am starting to feel that pull to do my art and writing again. Maybe winter had me a bit in its grips.
