Knock Knock

(click on pics to make them bigger) Who's There?
Knock Knock?
I said Who's There?
Knock Knock?
Hey Chickadee, are you knocking?
Nope, not me. I think it's the Crazy Crow Lady down there!
Oh, ya, I see her!
Bye, Bye, Crazy Crow Lady ;o)

Poor Woody! LOL! This is really how it happened.  I kept knocking on the stump, until he came out ;o) If we have to cut down a tree around our home, we leave tall stumps, so the birds can make their homes in them, until we have to chop them down. The neighbours think we are nuts ;o) I don't care ;o) LOL!

It has been a crazy couple of weeks. Everything is going well, but just been busy ;o) I have been trying to keep up on all your blogs as best as I can ;o) Sorry, no new art. Don't faint! LOL! Sometimes, I just don't have time ;o)

I would like to leave you with a beautiful mixed media painting by Teresa ;o) I won this painting from the Oz Blog Party ;o) Big Hugs Teresa! I love it and so does mom ;o)
Have a great weekend everyone ;o)
Hugs ;o)

  1. Hi, Stacy
I am so happy you like the Oz mixed media piece and your mom too!. It was so much fun to create it.
I hope to do more in the near future! I think doing mixed media art is now my passion as there is not end to what you can create with found embellishments, vintage and new.
Enjoy your cool weather...it was almost 100 degrees Farenheit today...way too hot for a day in May!

take care and have a blessed weekend!
    hugs

  6. I could almost see you and hear you knocking on that stump, lol! So sweet and so Stacy.

If your neighbors think you're crazy then they are nuts and have no imagination.

Busy seems to be taking over everywhere--what a month! Oh, and I'm stealing your daisy! ♥

  7. What a beautiful and cheerful post, dear Stacy :) I love what you do with the trees!!! We leave all our trees standing in our woods that have died. If nature decides that it is time for them to fall...so be it.
What a gorgeous painting that you have won!!!
    Great Big Hugs
    and Love

  10. Oh I love the Oz painting. Congrats. And the woodpecker is a lucky bird to get to nest in a tree of a tree lover who knows that the wildlife need homes too. Have missed you but I've been sorta away too. Oma Linda

  18. There's not much difference between birds and people, so I don't think you're nutty at all. Birds need all the friends they can get.
