New Crow Art and A Sneak Peak

Hi Everyone ;o)
We survived the snow, for now and the temperature is starting to rise, so that is good ;o) Saturday, we are expecting rain. The January thaw, before we get more snow.

I finished "The Dance Of Love" (4" x 12" canvas)
I had fun making this one, because it's another painting, you can turn around ;o)

Hope I didn't make you dizzy! LOL!

Do you remember this?
This is what it's looking like now ;o) (I like how the light was shining in on the right hand side.)
It's been fun to create. Lots of movement in it ;o) I find my crows are moving a lot this year! LOL!
Big Hugs ;o)

  1. SO glad to hear that things are starting to warm up over there! Hope you don't get too much more snow!

How in the world do you always find the most perfect names for your paintings! It's amazing, because 99% of the time you do!! That's one thing in addition to many others :), that I have a problem with!!

Oh my goodness, I really love what you are doing with that second one. Can't wait to see the finished piece - plus see what you are going to call it!!!

    Have a Super Fun Day!!

  14. Personally I love the movement & flow, the crows seem to have emerged as animated the way they dance on the canvas... just brilliant Stacy!!

  15. Dance of Love is elegant! Been besieged by single digit temperatures and the problems that go with that. Not suppose to get this cold in the South!!

  16. A whole lot of beautiful dancing going on with your crows! I love the first one just as much at every possible angle! Really cool! The one you're working on looks very fascinating, I am looking forward to seeing the completed version.

  18. LOVELY!!!! You are getting better and better!! I love the way you see things and you honor us with the beauty you create. I love what you did with the new background and love the new forms of your crows, Makes me feel free and happy to look at them, they truly look like they are moving!

Hopefully after the "January thaw" the weather will not get as bad as it has been. Not sure I am looking forward to the rain, but guess as long as it doesn't freeze I will be happy.

    Keep up the good work!
    See ya soon!

  19. Both of the paintings are great. To be honest I almost like the one exactly as is. It is probably that darker side of the brain that does it. Lol I look at it and see the shadows of your crows. Between the background and swirled heart you feel the light happy spirits they are but also see the eerie dark wandering side of them as well.... Could just be me though ha ha.

  20. I really love seeing the evolution of your crows! We woke up to plowable snow this morning, but since it is going to be 40 today and near 50 tomorrow with rain, I'm sure it will all be gone!

  22. Extraordinary that you can see the painting from so many sides. I love that surprising take you have now. And I really like the painting (the last one) as it is. There are so much life in it and the crows are so mysterious. Anyway, you should not have sent the winter to us Stacy... It is on its way.. LOL!!

  24. I don't know how you survived the snow. We had 48 degree weather and you should see the spectacle of boots, gloves and jackets around South Florida PLUS the complaining hehehehehe
BTW, the Women's Circle Traveling Art Journal is going to start soon. Since you would like to participate and we would love to have you participate, stop by the blog to check the details!!!
