New Crow Art and Daphne Bush ;o)

Hi Everyone ;o) Hope you're all well ;o) Well, the weather around here has been weird for the past week. We've had to wear our winter coats again! LOL! Well, you could get away with a nice big sweater. It has been refreshing ;o) There has been frost at night too! But, guess what????...by the end of this week, we are going to be 32 Celsius or 90 Fahrenheit, with high humidity!!! Ummmmm...I don't know, maybe I will want the frost back? LOL!
I finished 3 aceo's ;o)
"A Prayer For Mother Earth"
Do you remember "Dance"?
Well, I did an aceo size, called, "Celebration". It's a little different. I didn't want it exactly the same.
"A Magical Place"

I will leave you with two pictures of my Daphne Bush. She is my baby ;o) Although she is a big baby now! LOL! She flowers 3 to 5 times a year and the smell is so beautiful! I can't explain the perfume from her tiny flowers. When we have the windows open, the smell comes right in! Gorgeous! A hardy bush, I would recommend them to anyone! You don't have to do anything to them and they don't like to be touched either. Very little pruning!

A Little Bit Of This, A Little Bit Of That.........

Hi Everyone ;o) Hope you're all well ;o) You know, I think when the days get longer, the time goes by faster. Or maybe it's because there is more to do? I don't know? What do you think?
I have to show you my new sneakers ;o) I love new funky shoes ;o)  If you are feeling blue and look down, your shoes will make you smile ;o) Happy feet, are the best feet ;o)
Things are really growing around here! Our Lilac tree ;o)

Some wild flowers.
I forget what these are called. They are plenty full every year. I didn't plant them. I love free plants ;o)
White pansies ;o)
Mom's stinky flowers. I don't know what they are called, but I love them. They come in big bulbs and multiply year after year. They are one of the first flowers to bloom and last till the end of June. They really stink! They are suppose to keep away mice, deer. We don't have any deer, or mice, mom just got them, because she liked the way they looked. The squirrels don't like them either! LOL!

I finished another aceo ;o) Here is "The Fortune Teller" ;o)
The other day, when I was running around, I found some really cute items and I thought, I would like to do a giveaway ;o) You will get what you see in the picture and some extra's too ;o) So if you would like to be entered into the giveaway, you have to say in your comment, "I want the can" ;o)
The giveaway will close Friday May 24th and I will announce the winner on Saturday May 25th ;o)
Big Hugs and Be Well ;o)

New Crow Art and Bathroom Is Done ;o)

Hey Everyone ;o) Hope you're all well ;o) It was a beautiful day here! Sunny, but the wind was strong! Couldn't keep my hat on! LOL! Mom and I want to say thanks for the beautiful comments on our picture ;o) I finally got some art done! Yepeee ;o) I haven't created any of my Egyptian paintings in awhile, so I did three aceo's ;o)

"Egyptian Goddess Bastet" (I like her eye!)
The Goddess of Cats and the protector of Lower Egypt.

"Goddess Sekhmet"
She is depicted as a lioness, the fiercest hunter known to Egyptians.
Sekhmet also is a solar deity, sometimes called the daughter of the sun God Ra and often associated with the Goddesses Hathor and Bast. She bears the solar disk and the uraeus.

"Ba" (Soul)
The "Ba" is an aspect of a person that the Egyptians believed would live after the body died, and it is sometimes depicted as a human-headed bird flying out of the tomb to join with the "Ka" (spirit) in the afterlife.
The last painted I completed, I have been working on for awhile! It is painted on one of the old wood ironing boards my mom had. This one, I kept sanding, but it wasn't working out right, so I stuck on a tone of heart stickers! I wish I had of taken some pictures of all of this!
After the stickers, I put a layer of glue. After drying, many layers of paint were applied to give the right affect, to see the hearts come through on the painting. Any where you look on this painting, you will see hearts ;o)
"The Power Of Love"

Bathroom time ;o)
Before!
After!
Before!
After!
Have a great day everyone!! I promise I will be around soon ;o) You know me, I might be late, coming around to your blogs, but I will be there! Big Hugs ;o)

The Goddess

This is a 9 x 12 acrylic painting I just completed ;o)

Hope everyone is well ;o) This is a different tree. I forget what it's called, but when the flowers go, it has small berries and the birds, especially the robins, go crazy over it! Some of you asked about my other tree, it is a Magnolia tree ;o)

I will leave you with one more picture of our tree ;o) I don't know if I told you about our tree? We bought it as a baby in our old house. It was a special tree for us, because we buried our cat and dog underneath it. When we moved, we had to take it with us. She is around 14 years old now. I feel the spirit of our animals have came with us in that tree ;o)
Big Hugs and have a great weekend ;o)

Happy May, Broom, Hose

Happy May ;o) The view outside our front door ;o)

Some treasures in our backyard ;o)

I would like to share with you, two new things I have purchased. They are so wonderful, that I had to talk about them! I do a lot of gardening, so when I find things that are amazing I have to let everyone know!
First up is "The Original Garden Broom". This thing is amazing! It does, cement walk ways, your lawn, decks, driveways, anything you can think of! ;o) And, it doesn't matter if it's wet out, because it doesn't get wet! You have to try it to believe it! I sweep under very large evergreen trees, to get the pine needles off the lawn. Using this "broom", everything is gone! And, it's so light weight! My mom has arthritis, she can lift this with one finger! And, it is so strong! It doesn't break! I could go on and on, but you honestly have to try it to believe it! It's a rake and broom all in one! It was only $12.99 Canadian at our local Home Hardware store.
It's made in Sri Lanka from the coconut palm leaf that has perished and fallen off the tree. Recycled  and ethically traded! It rocks ;o)))

The second thing I would like to share with you, is the clear flow garden hose! Again, it is so light!!! Feather light! It doesn't kink, and if it does, it unkinks itself! Without water in it, the hose is flat, when the water comes through, it becomes round. It takes up no room for storage! I picked up two of these hoses at our local Home Hardware Store. They are made in Canada and have a life time warranty on them. Highly recommend these hoses!!!!

Have a special day everyone ;o) Make sure you get out and do a little dancing around the maypole ;o)
