Crystals and Stones

Hi Everyone ;o) Hope you're having a great day ;o)
Many of you have asked, what do I do with all my stones and crystals?

Many of you have asked, do I make things out of them?

Well, I have to tell you, when I buy them, I keep them the way they are and place them in different groupings.
My stones and crystals are very special to me! All have different energies. I know some of you may not believe, and that is fine ;o) I hold them when I meditate and I do feel the energies from them ;o)  I place them in certain places in our home, for protection or for love. But, most of them are in my bedroom or where I paint ;o)

One day, I asked my mom, when did I start to collect stones and crystals? She honestly couldn't tell me. She told me, I always loved them! Some of my pieces are quite old. This crystal wand is 20 years plus! It even went into the washing machine once! LOL! The washing machine was fine ;o) LOL!
Many people ask, how do you pick your crystals and stones? I say, you don't pick them, they pick you! I do like to give them as gifts as well ;o)
The one fun part, is cleaning them all! LOL!
I hope you liked seeing some of my crystals and stones ;o) I say "some", because I still have more! You can never have enough ;o) LOL!
Big Hugs ;o)

  2. They are Beautiful. What an awesome collection you have going here!! My daughter has been collecting crystals and stones, too. (However, she doesn't have quite the amount you have :O)

When she was little, she picked one of them to be her very own 'special wishing rock', and she would wish on it for important reasons; like wishing someone she knew good health, and things similar to this.

I like how you display them in a variety of bowls. They look pretty with the doilies underneath, too.

    Have a beautiful weekend!

(Lots of RAIN over here!! And WIND...which I'm not very fond of.)

  5. I have been a rockhound since I was very young. I passed that bit of insanity to Shel and the Grands. We all have our own collections and it is very interesting what vibrations each of our spaces have. We even have a big turquoise outside the front door to allow us to leave the negative outside when we come in. Everyone comments about the big rock next to the door. Love your collection and understand completely.

  8. Loved seeing your crystals and stones! We have many of the same ones. I have so many that some are tucked away in drawers but most are hiding in plain sight. I carry either a bloodstone worry stone or fluorite wand with me. I've loved crystals and stones since a young girl. Maybe that is why I majored in Geology in college :)

  9. Stacy, you have a beautiful collection of stones and crystals, and I love how you have displayed them. Do you ever change them around or do you make a display you like or seems harmonious and leave it that way?

  12. Your stones look so lovely. I don't know nearly as much as you - sometimes I'll learn a little and be fascinated - but, the truth is - for me, i just think they are so beautiful. i only have a few. I like to look at them - move them from place to place - sometimes i will take one of two with me when i go out . . BUT, I don't have a "reason" - I just like them . . . Thank you for sharing some of yours.

    And, you site??? - MARVELOUS!!!!

  14. Stacy I love your crystals and this post! I agree that some stones/crystals carry a special energy. When growing up on our farm, we had a strange kind of large sunken area up in a pasture that was at least 20-30 feet deeper than the surrounding area, it was full of gravel and geode stones. It gathered water and there was a little spring and trees growing around the area. It was like an oasis in the middle of this big open pasture. I used to sneak away and hang out there for hours as a kid with our dog. I never knew why I liked it so much, maybe I was soaking up all that positive energy!

  15. They're beautiful and I'm not sure what you mean about the energy coming from them but it's not the first time I hear there is "magic" in crystals. I should do some research. :) Thanks for sharing some of your collection!

  17. Stones crystals & ROCKS :) Oh Stacy this posts reminds me of how much you would enjoy wandering around the Standing Stones dotted all over remote locations in the UK, and yes I believe they give off energy too, you can feel it when you hold the rocks when you hug them too, you have a absolutely stunning collection of magic to inspire you gathered close :)

  18. What a lovely collection! I do love the feel of polished stones and river pebbles, very tactile things that demand to be picked up. The only special stone I have (apart from this one on my finger from Hubby!) is a stone with a hole in (They're called adder-stones, or hag-stones in England) that I keep on my key-ring. They're lucky and protective.

  19. I've always loved crystals and stones. I may not follow the same beliefs about energy, but I just love having them around and playing with them. (Like a crow, perhaps? Shiny!)

  20. You collection is amazing! I like to believe in the power of stones and crystals too. We need all the hope and uplifting we can get sometimes. :) That is a wonderful idea to spread them around the home and they make for such beautiful decor.

  26. Thanks for showing us your crystals. :) I totally love them. I can't imagine making jewelry out of mine and giving them away. My newest is Moldavite. I have to give mine more attention as I feel I neglected them.

  28. You have a great collection, such variety! I like the little clear ones with the animals in them, I've never seen anything like those before. I have a few dotted round the house too. My Aunt uses rekki and told me the best positions to have them in for energy. We have a beautiful crystal shop in St Andrews and the man who works there says the crystals have so much energy they effect the tills sometimes and they stop working altogether x
